Overview

First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Praha 2, I’ll be honest — the name had me a bit confused since it’s literally just named after the district it’s in. But you know what? Sometimes the simplest approach works best. This four-star hotel sits right in the Vršovice neighborhood, and while it might not have the flashiest exterior, there’s something refreshingly straightforward about the whole place. The fact that they offer free private parking right on site immediately caught my attention — trust me, if you’ve ever tried to park in Prague, you’ll understand why this is actually a huge deal.

Location & Neighborhood

Vršovice isn’t exactly the tourist center that everyone talks about, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. You’re close enough to reach the main attractions without dealing with the constant crowds and inflated prices of Old Town. The area has this authentic Prague vibe — local pubs, small shops, and real Czech life happening around you. I mean, couples seem to absolutely love it here (they rate the location 9.2, which is pretty impressive), and I can see why. You get that local experience while still being well-connected to everything you actually want to see.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — nothing overly fancy, but everything worked exactly as it should. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern enough without trying too hard to be trendy. What I appreciated most was the attention to practical details: good lighting for reading, enough outlets for your devices, and windows that actually open (you’d be surprised how many hotels skip this basic feature). The soundproofing is decent too, which matters when you’re trying to get some rest after walking around Prague all day.

Practical Advantages

Here’s where Praha 2 really shines — it’s the little things that add up. That free parking I mentioned? It’s not just a small lot with three spaces; they actually have proper facilities for guests. The staff speaks English well enough to help with directions and recommendations, and they seem to genuinely know the area. Recent guests have been rating the overall location experience at 8.9, and after spending time there, I can see why those numbers hold up. The hotel might not have a fancy spa or elaborate restaurant, but what they do offer works reliably.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Praha 2 isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works so well. You get solid four-star comfort in a genuinely local Prague neighborhood, with practical perks like free parking that can save you both money and headaches. The 8.6 overall rating reflects what I experienced — a hotel that delivers on its promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you want to experience Prague beyond the tourist bubble while still having a comfortable base to return to each night, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Generally positive

The location of the house is close to the Center, especially by two different public transport. The house is fully equiped. Furnitures are comfortable. There is everything for the comfort of a family.

What could be improved: The little room, where the bed is located is without Windows. So air is not enough when the door is closed. The curtains let the sunlight get in the house in the morning.

Super place if you want to visit this great city! I like it!

Object located near beautiful park next to tram stop so you can walk nearby or get to any any other pace by tram. There is a railway station nearby. Rooms are clean, one big with a tv, a window and balcony with great view, and other one is small with just a double bed. Also there is a bathroom with toilet and bathtub where you can shower too, and a kitchen so you can prepare some meal. There is a market in the building.

What could be improved: Double bed is really big, as big as a room, so for someone sleeping by the wall there is no other way to get off the bed other than waking other person and crawling/rolling all the way to other side.

Also there is a frying pan but no spatula, consider buying one... or use a credit card :) .
