First thing that hit me when I walked in – the air conditioning actually works, which, believe me, isn’t always a given in these old Prague buildings during those sweltering July weeks. The apartment sits right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, and I mean *right* in it – you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Old Jewish Cemetery and about five minutes from that iconic Astronomical Clock that every tourist queues up for.

What really sold me on this place was the terrace situation. It’s not huge, but it’s got this perfect afternoon light where you can sit with your morning coffee (or evening wine, no judgment) and watch the neighborhood come alive. The thing about Templová Street is that it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some of the other streets, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I actually spent most evenings out there just people-watching – there’s something about the way the light hits those old buildings that never gets old. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in without being worn down, if that makes sense. Good shower pressure, kitchen that’s actually functional for cooking (not just reheating takeout), and the kind of Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every time someone walks past the router.

Here’s the thing that surprised me most – the noise levels are totally manageable, even though you’re smack in the middle of everything. I was expecting typical city apartment chaos, but the windows are solid and the street doesn’t get the party crowd that some areas do. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that “meet us at a random café three blocks away” nonsense you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The host clearly knows their stuff and actually gave me some solid recommendations for places that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. That 9.7 rating? Yeah, I get it. It’s one of those places where all the little details just work together – the location puts you right where you want to be without the premium hotel prices, the terrace gives you that perfect Prague moment every morning, and honestly, the whole setup just feels like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. If you’re the type who wants to explore the Jewish Quarter properly, maybe grab dinner in the nearby side streets where locals actually eat, and still have a comfortable base to come back to, this is your spot.

  Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko rynku ale przy cichej spokojnej uliczce. Mieszkanie bardzo ładne, czyste, dobrze wyposażone, zadbane, z dużą dbałością o szczegóły. Wszystkie sprzęty i udogodnienia działające bez zarzutu. Wygodne łóżka. Duży wygodny taras. Dużo zadbanej zieleni.

  Superbe appartement, très bien équipé. Très grand, très propre, très bien décoré. Balcon juste parfait. L'hôtesse que nous avons rencontré était très sympathique. La localisation est parfaite, au milieu de tout. Très beau séjour. Merci beaucoup pour tout.
  
  What could be improved: Stationner la voiture initialement n'a pas été simple. Nous avons finalement stationné dans un centre d'achat (très grand stationnement souterrain propre et sécuritaire) très près de l'appartement. Nous n'avions pas besoin de notre voiture lors de notre séjour, donc au final cette solution a été parfaite, Prague étant juste fantastique à visiter. L'appartement est juste trop parfait, donc malgré cette petite complication, je le recommande pour un séjour sans hésitation.
