Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Prague Season Hotel? It’s that perfect sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters but not drowning in tourist chaos. I mean, Legerova street isn’t exactly where first-time visitors expect to stay – most people think they need to be right in Old Town – but honestly, that’s what makes this place work so well.

The hotel itself has this understated confidence about it. Nothing flashy or trying too hard, just solid four-star comfort that actually delivers on what it promises. The lobby has these warm wood tones and you can tell they’ve put thought into the lighting – it’s welcoming without being too bright after you’ve been wandering Prague’s cobblestones all day. Check-in was smooth (I got there around 3 PM on a Thursday, no waiting around), and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well when I asked about dinner spots. The rooms are what I’d call intelligently designed – not huge, but they use the space really well. Good blackout curtains too, which you’ll appreciate since Prague summer days stretch pretty long.

What I really love about the location is how it puts you in this sweet spot near Vinohrady. You’re walking distance from Wenceslas Square if you want the main action, but you can also duck into some of those great wine bars along Korunní that most tourists never find. The tram connections are solid – the 11 and 16 lines get you pretty much anywhere you want to go, and there’s a decent grocery store (Tesco) just a few blocks away if you need snacks or want to grab some of those amazing Czech pastries for breakfast. Parking’s actually manageable here too, unlike trying to navigate a car around the castle district. I walked to the National Museum in maybe fifteen minutes, and getting to the river takes about the same. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning, not just groups of tourists with selfie sticks. Honestly, after staying in some of the more touristy areas on previous trips, this felt like getting a glimpse of how Prague actually works as a city people live in, not just visit. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that consistently does things right without any major wow moments or disappointments.

Reviews

  • Ahmed from Cyprus – 16 January 2025 (9/10)

    Nice hotel ,
Really thanks for the lady at the reception! She is very helpful.
    Breakfast was nice

What could be improved: For 4 stars hotel missing clever TV !

  • Davide from Italy – 23 March 2025 (8/10)

The room was big (we book a quadruple room but we were three). The room was basic but met all the cleanness and amenities expectation. We really appreciated having a power socket for each. The bathroom was nice.

What could be improved: Breakfast choice for sweet food was a bit lacking. Also hot beverages were not the best I tasted. Bathroom should have a couple of towel hanger more.

  • David from United Kingdom – 22 March 2025 (9/10)

Nice staff and a great room.

What could be improved: Scrambled/ fried eggs for breakfast were consistently cold.

  • Vida from Hungary – 10 February 2025 (9/10)

It was clean and cosy, the staff were kind and helpful.

  • Pavol from Slovakia – 29 January 2025 (9/10)

Good location – 5 minutes walk from the metro station IP Pavlova, 10 min. from Náměstí Míru and 15 min. from the Museum (Václavské náměstí). Standard breakfast in the form of a buffet. I rate the staff very positively, who were very friendly and helpful. Ideal choice for a short business visit or citybreak.

What could be improved: Nothing special 🙂

  • Vladyslav from Austria – 28 January 2025 (9/10)

Good location, very friendly staff and good service

  • Růženka from Czech Republic – 8 January 2025 (7/10)

I like the room that it's big enough and clean for one person, the breakfast is awesome and have many choices, the part I like the most is the Kyrgyzstani staff was very friendly and helped me to carry my suitcase to my room, and the price is very good in Prague for hotel with breakfast.

What could be improved: The location is not too bad, however if you are carrying the heavy luggage it will be around 5-7 minutes to arrive the hotel, also there is the staircases, it's better for the tourists who don't have heavy luggages. And there is a small problem of my room, because it a room which is nearest the staircases, it might be a bit noisy when people passed by, besides that, everything is good in general.

  • Karen from Australia – 3 January 2025 (8/10)

  • Bibigul from Kazakhstan – 27 December 2024 (9/10)

-staff: were very polite and helpful
    – breakfast: were good and for travel day we need to check out earlier than the breakfast, but they put breakfast to go with our preferences
    – size of room: was very big and very comfortable for 3 people, a lot of places for luggage
    – temperature in room: was warm and comfortable
The room was clean, with 2 big windows
    – location: was good, 2 stops from train station and you can walk to tram in 5-7 min to see the city. Also there are several mini markets near.

    What could be improved: n/a
