Prague Old Town Liliova Garden

Capital City of Prague, Czechia
Liliová, Prague, 110 00, Czech Republic

Overview

First Impressions

Walking down Liliová street, you’ll spot Prague Old Town Liliova Garden tucked into one of the most coveted spots in the historic center. When couples are rating the location 9.8 out of 10, you know you’ve found something special. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Prague, offering authentic charm rather than touristy approximations. The hotel combines historic character with modern amenities that make your stay genuinely comfortable and memorable. The building itself tells stories of centuries past while providing contemporary conveniences that today’s travelers expect and appreciate.

The Perfect Location

The location here is practically unbeatable for exploring the Old Town. You’re literally steps away from Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock, yet Liliová street itself maintains a quieter, almost residential feel despite being so central. Unlike many Old Town hotels that feel like sleeping inside a tourist attraction, this property lets you breathe and experience the city authentically. You can walk to Prague Castle in about fifteen minutes, and the Jewish Quarter is right around the corner, making exploration effortless. The cobblestone streets surrounding the hotel create an atmosphere that transports you back through time while keeping modern Prague within easy reach.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort that’s honestly pretty hard to nail. The windows actually open properly — sounds silly, but when you’re in a centuries-old building, that’s not always a given. The beds are genuinely comfortable, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without playing Tetris with your belongings. The bathrooms are updated without feeling sterile, which is exactly what you want in a place like this. Each detail reflects thoughtful design and attention to guest comfort. The furnishings strike an ideal balance between preserving the building’s character and meeting contemporary expectations for quality and functionality.

Dining and Atmosphere

While the hotel doesn’t have its own full-scale restaurant, you’re surrounded by some of Prague’s best dining options. The staff here knows the neighborhood inside and out, and their recommendations are spot-on. I ended up at this tiny wine bar two blocks away that I never would’ve found on my own. The hotel itself has a cozy common area where you can grab coffee in the morning, and there’s something really nice about starting your day there before heading out to explore the city’s wonders. The local culinary scene offers everything from traditional Czech dishes to international cuisine, all within walking distance of your doorstep.

Why Guests Love It

Prague can be overwhelming with all its beauty and history, but staying here makes it feel manageable somehow. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but you’re not fighting crowds just to get to your front door. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you experience it — the hotel gets all the important stuff right. There’s something special about falling asleep in a building that’s probably older than your entire hometown and waking up to church bells instead of traffic noise, creating memories that last long after you leave. The combination of prime location, authentic atmosphere, and genuine hospitality creates an experience that captures the essence of what makes Prague such a magical destination for travelers from around the world.

Great Location. Helpful staff

Location is perfect. Our flight was delayed and the man who was working the reception desk stayed past scheduled closing time to accommodate us.

What could be improved: Minor issue with window blinds.
Also the TV was not connected to anything. Might be an issue for someone. We didn’t care because we spent all our time out or sleeping.

Great room in an amazing location!

Amazing location right in the heart of old town, but on a quiet street. Everything on walking distance, or really easy to go around with the trams/ lightrail. We stayed in a room in the basement which was very clean, quite specious and soundproof. Beds were very comfy and shower was amazing!

What could be improved: Due to staying in the basement, the hallway had a bit of a mouldy smell going down. The room felt and smelled fresh though.

Excellent location for a quiet stay on the heart of old town

Excellent location right in the heart of old town Prague and close to everything- bars, restaurants and shops, and only 5 minutes walk from the river, Charles Bridge and other landmarks.
The room we had was at the back of the building overlooking the inner courtyard. Very quiet as it’s away from the street. Access via a service door with security cameras overlooking entrances.
Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower, very clean. Small fridge in the room. A/C available although we didn’t need it. Good WiFi throughout.
Friendly, helpful reception staff. Cleaners changed towels etc every day.

What could be improved: Room slightly on the small side, but otherwise no complaints.
