Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Prague Inn? It’s got this perfect spot on 28.října street where you’re genuinely in the thick of things without feeling like you’re camping in Times Square. I mean, you step out the front door and Wenceslas Square is basically a five-minute walk – which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to hit the main sights but also want to duck back for a quick rest.
The building itself has that solid, unpretentious vibe that a lot of Prague’s better hotels nail. It’s not trying to be some Instagram-worthy boutique place, but the rooms are actually thoughtfully put together. The beds are proper comfortable (I’m talking good sleep after those long cobblestone walking days), and they’ve clearly figured out that travelers need decent lighting and enough outlets – small things that matter way more than fancy lobby art. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the city center. The windows do their job, which you can’t take for granted in this part of town.
Here’s the thing about the location that the address doesn’t tell you – you’re positioned perfectly between the New Town energy and easy access to Old Town’s tourist magic. That stretch of 28.října puts you close enough to the good local pubs (there’s this excellent traditional place called U Fleků just a short walk away that most visitors never find) but far enough from the absolutely mobbed areas that you can actually move around normally. The tram connections are solid too, though honestly, you’ll probably end up walking most places because Prague’s just built for it. Staff-wise, they know their stuff – not just the usual tourist recommendations, but they’ll point you toward the better coffee spots and tell you which museums are worth your time versus which ones you can skip. The 8.1 rating feels about right; it’s the kind of place that does what it promises without any weird surprises, good or bad. If you’re looking for somewhere that’ll give you a real base in Prague without breaking the bank or making you feel like you’re staying in some soulless chain, this works really well.
To book a hotel in Prague during the famous Easter Market season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and architecture lovers from around the world.

What could be improved: Room in need of renovation, major damage to door.Marc from United Kingdom – 7 November 2024 (9/10)
The room was spotlessly clean and had a great view down Wenceslas Square, ideal for people-watching. The location was excellent, being on the boundary between the Old Town and New Town, with most of the major sights within a 5- -10 minute walk. The buffet breakfast was a great start to the day, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with any request dealt with in a professional and caring manner. An excellent stay!
