But here’s the thing locals know – you’re also walking distance to some fantastic neighborhood pubs where a beer costs half what you’d pay near the Astronomical Clock. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than going through the motions, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I will say the area gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which was perfect for me, but if you’re looking to stumble home from late-night bars, you might want something more central. The 8.4 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but for the price point and what it delivers, you’d be hard-pressed to find better value in Prague. Perfect for travelers who want a clean, comfortable base without paying tourist-trap prices.
