Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Prague Central Exclusive Apartments? The building itself is this gorgeous art nouveau gem tucked on Elisky Krasnohorske – and honestly, most people walk right past it without realizing what they’re missing. I mean, the street name alone makes you feel like you’re in some Eastern European novel, but the location is actually perfect if you want to feel like a local rather than just another tourist stumbling around Old Town Square.

The apartments themselves have this interesting mix of old-world charm and modern convenience that somehow works. High ceilings with original moldings, but thank god they’ve updated the plumbing and heating – trust me, you don’t want to deal with Soviet-era radiators in February. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped (I actually cooked breakfast a few mornings, which saved me from another hotel buffet situation), and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re basically in the heart of everything. The building’s thick walls do their job, though you might catch some tram sounds early morning – but honestly, that’s part of the Prague experience.

Here’s the thing about the location that the booking sites don’t really capture: you’re a five-minute walk to Namesti Miru, which has this fantastic farmers market on Saturdays, and there’s a little wine bar called Vinograf just around the corner that locals actually go to. Plus, you’re on the metro line that gets you to Prague Castle without having to navigate the tourist-packed tram routes. The neighborhood – Vinohrady – has character without being pretentious, if that makes sense. Tree-lined streets, decent coffee shops, and you can grab groceries at the Tesco just down Korunni street. Parking can be tricky (like everywhere in Prague), but there’s usually street parking if you’re patient, or a garage about ten minutes away. The 7.9 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done and the staff actually seems to care about whether you have a good stay. I’d definitely book here again, especially if I was staying more than a couple nights and wanted to live in Prague rather than just visit it.

Reviews

  • Sonia from Germany – 25 December 2024 (8/10)

Huge!!! There was more beds than we had people! There was 3 bathrooms (1 had just a bath tub, 1 had just a toilet, the other was a full bath!)

What could be improved: Probably having to pick the keys up elsewhere but really that wasn’t even that much of an issue.

  • Gabriela from Spain – 22 March 2024 (8/10)

Sufficient space for all the girl, enough mirrors, great location in city center.

What could be improved: We were charged an additional 200€ as a security deposit for the accommodation, which was refundable but was not stated in the advertisement. The keys were in another location quite far from the main accommodation and we had to take a cab to pick them up.

  • Mary from Greece – 17 March 2024 (7/10)

    perfect location, modern facilities

What could be improved: I had to go to the other part of town in order to get the keys. The room though nice wasn’t the apartment advertised in the photos

  • Robert from Denmark – 26 September 2023 (7/10)

The location was great. In the Jewish quarter close to the old town. The apartment was as described and was very spacious.

What could be improved: There were a few things that needed fixing. Old doors that didn't fit the rest of the style. Towel dryer was loose from the wall. Lights partly broken in the bathroom. It was functional, but could have been much better.

  • Гергана from Bulgaria – 22 June 2023 (9/10)

Perfect location, vast and good equipped apartment. Lots of light and space, a romantic and aristocratic touch of Prague…at a more than reasonable price.

What could be improved: Reception is in a totally different hotel, which is in 10 minutes driving distance. We've got only 2 keys for 9 guests. The staff is friendly though, two sweet young ladies have made the effort to explain everything and answered any question asked.

  • Bobby from United Kingdom – 9 June 2023 (7/10)

the size and lots of beds and two toilets

What could be improved: not enough pillows

  • Paulina from Poland – 9 July 2022 (8/10)

The location is amazing, in the centre of Jewish quarter. The apartement is very comfortable, with everything you need for a short stay.

What could be improved: You need to go for the keys to a completely different location, quite far from the apartement itself. The person giving the key was quite rude and impatient.

  • Renata from Czech Republic – 4 May 2022 (8/10)

    location

What could be improved: there is not possibility to leave the luggage
the place to get the key is too far

  • Audrius from Lithuania – 31 August 2024 (8/10)

    Place and facilities

What could be improved: No parking near appartament

  • Balodis from Malta – 22 June 2024 (8/10)

Really liked the area of the apartment, easy to find, quite and small street, was easy to sleep even with the windows wide open. Lot of good shops and restaurants around. Very close to touristic places ,didnt need to spend much time to get to places what i wanted to see, Really helpful and nice staff.

What could be improved: The pictures probably have been taken few years ago didn't really match the real life situation. Information about that one will need to pay deposit should be added to the description in first page , not in the last page of details. Didn't like that one can't use the balcony for smoking, so was quite annoying to walk/take elevator down to the street to have a cigarette. Quite a lot of items have some broken/damaged parts, or they are used so much that look in a bad shape. Squeaking entrance door of the whole building was annoying especially if one is returning late at evening , felt like I'm going to wake up the whole building.
