Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Prague Castle Garden Apartment on Bělohorská street, you know you’ve found something special. This four-star apartment sits in one of those quiet residential neighborhoods that locals actually live in — not the touristy bubble most visitors get stuck in. The building itself has that classic Prague charm, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering. The welcoming atmosphere immediately sets the tone for your stay in this charming corner of the city.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re close enough to Prague Castle that you can actually walk there (hence the name), but far enough away that you won’t be dealing with tour groups outside your window at 7 AM. The Hradčany area is genuinely beautiful, with tree-lined streets and that authentic Central European feel you came to Prague to experience. You’ll find small cafes and local shops within walking distance, plus the tram connections are solid if you want to explore other parts of the city. The neighborhood truly captures the essence of residential Prague life.

The Space

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel — in the best possible way. There’s a proper kitchen where you can actually cook (not just reheat leftovers), which is perfect if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets. The room setup gives you space to spread out, something you really appreciate after a few days of sightseeing. I mean, having a separate living area makes such a difference when you’re traveling as a couple and need some breathing room. The thoughtful layout enhances your overall comfort and relaxation.

Practical Considerations

Let’s talk about the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The WiFi works well — I had no issues staying connected for work calls. Parking can be a bit tricky in this neighborhood (it’s Prague, after all), but there are options nearby if you’re driving. The apartment is clean and well-maintained, though don’t expect brand-new everything — this is more about character and location than flashy amenities. The 7.4 rating feels about right; it’s solid without being spectacular. These practical details ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it lets you live like a local for a few days. Couples especially seem to appreciate the privacy and space — there’s something romantic about having your own little Prague hideaway near the castle. The fact that recent guests rated the location 8.1 tells you everything you need to know about the neighborhood. You’re getting authentic Prague without sacrificing convenience, and honestly, that balance is harder to find than you might think. It’s not the fanciest place in the city, but if you want to experience Prague beyond the tourist trail while still being close to the main sights, this apartment delivers exactly what it promises. This is where genuine Prague hospitality meets comfortable accommodation.

Acogedora

El apartamento es agradable, cómodo y acogedor. Cama amplia, menaje y calefactor, además de la calefacción. No está en zona céntrica pero con el tranvia de la puerta es cómodo llegar.

What could be improved: Que no tiene persianas.

Poor

What could be improved: The apartment was advertised as having a garden, I never discovered this garden. The whole place needs a deep clean and an update.

The flat was a good choice to oversleep and we´re happy we found it according to the location.

Size of the flat was a nice surprise. Bed was comfortable.

What could be improved: I recognised a smell from a former smoker in the main room (kitchen/living room), I am quite sensitive to such smell, maybe others wouldn´t notice. I think the flat would deserve an easy renovation to avoid these smells, Keys on the main doors could work better. The sofa was a little disgusting in my opinion.
