Prague Bohemian Rhapsody Suites Overview

You know what struck me first about Prague Bohemian Rhapsody Suites? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it’s not just some marketing gimmick. Walking into this place on Soukenická street (which honestly, I still can’t pronounce properly), you get this immediate sense that someone really thought about making each suite feel like its own little world. The building itself has that perfect Prague mix of historical bones with modern guts, and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Powder Tower, but tucked away enough that you’re not drowning in tourist foot traffic at 7 AM.

The suites themselves are… well, they’re actually suites, not just hotel rooms with a sitting area thrown in as an afterthought. Each one has this bohemian-meets-sophisticated thing going on – think rich fabrics and interesting art pieces, but nothing that screams “we’re trying too hard to be quirky.” I stayed in one overlooking the courtyard (ask for these if you’re a light sleeper, because Soukenická can get a bit lively on weekend nights), and honestly, the space felt more like borrowing a well-traveled friend’s apartment than staying in a hotel. The kitchenettes are actually functional too – I managed to make proper coffee and even picked up some trdelník from the market around the corner to have for breakfast.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how the staff seemed to genuinely know Prague beyond just the obvious tourist spots. When I mentioned wanting to find good Czech wine (not an oxymoron, turns out), the front desk guy – I think his name was Tomáš – didn’t just hand me a generic list. He actually drew me a little map to this wine bar in Vinohrady that I never would’ve found otherwise. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience a city rather than just photograph it. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s the sort of place that handles all the practical stuff flawlessly (check-in was seamless, housekeeping was thorough but unobtrusive, WiFi actually worked throughout the building) while still feeling personal and unpretentious. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Prague rather than just visiting, this is your spot.

Reviews of Prague Bohemian Rhapsody Suites

  • Mark from Egypt – 29 December 2024 (10/10)

A perfect apartment in all aspects. Excellent location 15 mins walk from old town square, easy access to transportation, lots of nearby supermarkets
Very clean, excellent facilities, super staff handling everything single thing that you might think of

  • Lusine from Armenia – 12 March 2025 (10/10)

Everything was great! The staff was really helpful. We had everything we needed for our stay and the location was good. When in Prague we will definitely come back.

  • Iryna from Germany – 8 March 2025 (10/10)

The best place to stay in Prague so far! and it was my 5th visit to this city.
Cozy, stylish, great location, it couldn't be better.

What could be improved: it could be a bit noisy because of neighbors, but they have nothing to do with hosts.

  • Charles from United Kingdom – 4 March 2025 (10/10)

Apartment was spotlessly clean and in a very central location.
Host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.
Facilities were the best I have ever experienced, deodorant, toothbrushes, tea, coffee even toothpicks! They really had thought of everything you could need.

What could be improved: Couple of minor things, was only setup for 2 on arrival and access problems one evening but both resolved within minutes by a quick call to the owner. Maybe add instructions for setting up the Sofa bed to the welcome book as they were not there.

  • Rafael from Portugal – 4 January 2025 (9/10)

Great location, close enough to the city centre without being too close for the turist activity to be a hassle.
Great host. Really helped and ways always available when needed. Provided several recomendations.
Apartment very well decorated. Heated floors in the bathroom!!!

What could be improved: View from apartment is not stunning.

  • Hanan from Romania – 27 December 2024 (10/10)

Everything was so perfect and comfy, felt like I’m home !

What could be improved: Nothing 😉

  • Sheena from Germany – 26 December 2024 (10/10)

We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend for the location to Old Town. Pleasant staff and clean facilities.

What could be improved: The couch bed is uncomfortable (as with almost any couch bed).

  • Amanda from Australia – 23 December 2024 (10/10)

Everything about this property was lovely. The attention to detail by the owners made this a very pleasant place to come back to each day. It’s quiet, near supermarkets, easy to find, has everything you need and more.

What could be improved: Nothing. It was a little expensive but it was also right before Christmas so that’s to be expected. We decided it was worth the money we paid we were so comfortable and well looked after.

  • Pushkal from India – 8 December 2024 (10/10)

Great location, great apartment, great amenities, great host. We were here for 5 days and the apartment was very comfortable. Stuart and team were readily available for the smaller queries

  • Kathryn from United Kingdom – 29 October 2024 (10/10)

Everything, we will definitely be back thank you 🙂

What could be improved: Everything was perfect
