This little 3-star place sits in Záběhlice – which, let’s be real, most tourists have never heard of – but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re properly in a Prague neighborhood here, not some sanitized tourist bubble.

The thing about this penzion is that it feels like staying at your Czech aunt’s house, if your aunt happened to run a really well-organized guesthouse. The rooms are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to impress anyone, and the whole place has this quietly efficient vibe that I actually prefer to fancier hotels downtown. I mean, you can park right outside (try doing that near Old Town Square), and when you wake up in the morning, you hear actual Prague life happening – people heading to work, the occasional tram rumbling by, not just tour groups with their 7 AM photo sessions.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff just… knows things. Like when I asked about getting to Vinohrady for dinner, they didn’t just point toward the metro – they told me exactly which tram to catch from the stop that’s literally a two-minute walk away, and mentioned that the 22 runs more frequently in the evenings. These are the details that matter when you’re actually trying to live in a city for a few days, not just tick off monuments. The neighborhood itself is pretty residential, so you’ve got a proper Czech pub around the corner where locals actually drink (not the tourist-priced places in the center), and there’s a little shop for basics that stays open later than you’d expect. The metro connection to the city center takes about 15 minutes, which honestly feels like nothing once you realize you’re paying half what you’d spend for a comparable room in Malá Strana, and you’re sleeping better because there aren’t drunk bachelor parties stumbling around at 3 AM. the location in a quiet area with very good access to public transport. The spacious parking, the excellent breakfast fully recommend staying at this guesthouse!

Free parking with a bus stop a few minutes by foot.
Breakfast included. Selection is small and the same everyday but it was more than enough for me.
Overall, GREAT price to stay in Prague with free parking and breakfast included.
A ten minute walk in the direction behind the hotel is a small lake with a canteen type restaurant with a large patio on one side and a pub/wine restaurant on the other. Very clam and lovely place.
Contactless and easy check in and out system.
SUPER clean!
And very cute design in the pension with a spiral staircase.

What could be improved: No daily cleaning which was fine for me because from the get go it was SO clean and I didn’t need anything done throughout my stay.
I only saw reception staff once. They provide a phone number to call if you need help which I didn’t need.
The location can be hard as it is far from centre and sometimes could take me 40-50 mins to get to certain sites in the centre or around the centre. I didn’t mind it but it is something to keep in mind.
The parking lot is enclosed but the gate was always open.
