Here’s what I love about the location on Nad Hradnim vodojemem — you’re actually in a proper Prague neighborhood where locals live, not some touristy bubble. It’s about a 15-minute tram ride to Old Town Square, which honestly gives you time to watch the city wake up in the morning. The area is surprisingly peaceful, and I mean that in the best way possible. You know what really sold me though? The free parking right on site — if you’re driving in Prague, you’ll understand why this is basically gold. The convenient access to public transportation makes exploring the city effortless.

The Room Experience

My room was simple but thoughtfully arranged, with clean lines and that understated Czech practicality I’ve grown to appreciate. The bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept through the night (which doesn’t always happen when I travel), and the bathroom was spotless. Nothing fancy, but everything worked perfectly — sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The windows open wide, and on quiet mornings you can hear birds instead of traffic, which feels like a small miracle when you’re staying in a capital city. The furnishings are modern yet cozy.

The breakfast setup really impressed me — they’ve got continental options covered, but they also cater to vegetarian and gluten-free diets without making it feel like an afterthought.   Clean, comfortable with a good breakfast. Good wi-fi and fan helped as very hot weather. Hostess was very helpful, even with the language barrier. Tram stop at front door so getting around is easy. Good secure parking a bonus.

  The owners are great! 🙂 the location is perfect: separated from the city center, in a quiet part and in 10 minutes you are in the center of Prague. The station is right in front of the apartment and you have a tram every 10 minutes and a good connection with the rest of the city.

  The pension was next to Baterie tram stop. Trams 1 and 2 to Praha centre in 20 mins. The receptionist was helpful and friendly room was on 2nd floor. Clean and tidy room. There is a light in the room and couldn't find a switch then realised its on motion sensor. I would use again
