Panorama Hotel Prague Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Panorama Hotel Prague on Milevská, I wasn’t expecting much from the neighborhood. You’re in Nusle, which isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, but that actually turned out to be one of my favorite things about staying here. It’s this proper residential area where you’ll see locals walking their dogs and grabbing coffee, not crowds of people with selfie sticks.

The hotel itself sits in this spot where you get these genuinely stunning views over the city (hence the name, I guess), and I mean, Prague from a distance never gets old. The building’s got that clean, modern feel – nothing too fancy, but everything works the way it should. Check-in was smooth, the staff actually seemed to care about helping rather than just going through the motions, and my room had this big window that made the whole space feel larger than it probably was. The beds are proper comfortable too, which honestly matters more than any fancy marble bathroom when you’ve been walking cobblestones all day.

What really won me over was how connected you are despite feeling removed from the tourist chaos. There’s a tram stop basically right outside – and I mean right outside, you can hear it but it’s not annoying – that gets you into Wenceslas Square in maybe fifteen minutes. The neighborhood has this great little Vietnamese place around the corner (Prague’s full of excellent Vietnamese food, which surprised me the first time I visited), plus a proper grocery store if you want to grab snacks or drinks without paying hotel prices. You know what else? Parking here is actually manageable, unlike trying to navigate a car anywhere near Old Town. The whole area quiets down nicely at night too – you’re not dealing with drunk groups stumbling past your window at 2 AM.

I stayed here in both summer and on a return trip in November, and honestly, the experience held up both times. Summer’s obviously lovely with those long European evenings, but there’s something cozy about Prague in the colder months, and this place felt like a good home base for exploring without breaking the bank. The 8.3 rating makes sense – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it does everything well without any major headaches. For what you pay compared to staying right in the center, you’re getting solid value and a chance to see how Prague actually functions as a city, not just a postcard.

To book a hotel in Prague during the famous Easter Market season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts history enthusiasts and architecture lovers from around the world.

  • Wenyu from China – 28 March 2023 (9/10)

staff are very kind, location is good

What could be improved: water pressure in the bathroom change often

  • Patrik from United Kingdom – 31 March 2025 (9/10)

Before I say anything else, I would like to mention the night receptionist Milan. He was really really professional. He made me go back down from my room just for get his name so I can put him down absolutely lovely fella. The room was tidy and neat no issues at all. Breakfast was amazing, lots of room to sit and lot of opinions to eat and very tasty too.

  • Erwin from Austria – 10 March 2025 (8/10)

Although the building is 40 years old it is in a good shape. The breakfast is very ok! The personnel is friendly and very helpful.

What could be improved: The Toilette in the bath is fixed to a very low level, very much uncommon. You need more power to open the tap,

  • Yisrael from United Kingdom – 3 March 2025 (9/10)

Rooms are clean and staff are lovely

What could be improved: Spa facilities are slightly dated

  • Avleen from Austria – 25 February 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: House keeping!!

  • Georg from Austria – 23 February 2025 (9/10)

Good Wellness, very friendly staff, good meals at the restaurant, excellent breakfast

What could be improved: relaxation room sauna is a bit small,
and air-conditioning could be better, but there is the alternative laying at the pool.

  • Igor from Slovakia – 11 February 2025 (8/10)

Good location close to metro station, underground and outdoor parking spaces, cosy rooms, however the older age of the furniture and equipment is noticable.

  • Andrei from United Kingdom – 8 January 2025 (8/10)

    Good location

What could be improved: Was clean

  • Aga from Poland – 6 January 2025 (8/10)

Great location and nice staff at the bar. Comfortable bathroom and rooms with armchairs and a lot of space for the luggage.

What could be improved: My superior room did not have the entrance to the sauna included in the price which was not clear at the time of the booking. Also room was not prepared with an extra bed for my son although I booked it for 3 people via Booking. The staff at the reception was very friendly and gave me a voucher for a welcome drink and another room which was still not the right one again missing the extra bed. Then they called the manager who accused me for not calling them and informing about the extra bed I needed. He eventually offered a bigger room after a short discussion. The room did not have a bottled water and 3 cups for the tea for 3 people… Breakfast area was super crowded and badly organized with no big plates available and forks missing.

  • Bethany from United Kingdom – 1 January 2025 (9/10)

Lovely hotel, all the facilities you need – would defiantly recommend and stay again.

What could be improved: Nothing in particular. Good location but it is about a 20 minute metro journey into the centre of town.
