It’s actually tucked away on this quiet little street that feels completely removed from the tourist chaos, even though you’re literally in the heart of Prague’s Old Town. I mean, Templová 7 might not ring a bell, but it’s basically a stone’s throw from Wenceslas Square – you can walk there in maybe five minutes, but somehow the apartment feels like this peaceful pocket that the crowds haven’t discovered yet.

The building itself has that classic Prague character you’re hoping for without being too precious about it. It’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble lobbies or concierge service, but honestly? That works in its favor. The apartments feel more like staying in a local friend’s place than some sterile hotel room. The spaces are bigger than what you’d typically get in this part of the city, and there’s something refreshing about having a little kitchen area where you can store those amazing pastries from the bakery around the corner (seriously, there’s this spot on Národní that does incredible koláče – locals line up there every morning). The windows are decent-sized too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with those narrow Old Town streets that can feel a bit cave-like.

Location-wise, it’s sort of perfect for people who want to be central but not completely overwhelmed. You’re close enough to hit all the major spots – Charles Bridge is maybe a ten-minute walk, and you can easily wander over to the Jewish Quarter or catch a tram to the castle. But here’s the thing most visitors don’t realize: staying right on the main tourist strips means dealing with crowds until pretty late at night, especially in summer. Templová gives you this nice buffer zone where you can actually get some sleep. The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s solid and dependable without being fancy, and I think most people end up pleasantly surprised rather than blown away. The minor downsides are pretty typical for older Prague buildings: you might deal with some street noise in the mornings (delivery trucks seem to love that area around 7 AM), and the WiFi can be a bit spotty, though it’s generally fine for basic stuff. But if you’re the type who wants to experience Prague like you’re actually living there for a few days rather than just checking boxes on a tourist itinerary, this place gets it right.

  Posizione perfetta, centrale ma defilata. Camera ben riscaldata calda (periodo natalizio). Per il prezzo pagato non ci si può lamentare. Forse i letti un po' piccoli, se fossimo stati tutti sopra 1.80 probabilmente scomodi. Uno dei letti più adatto a ragazzini…. Noi non abbiamo grandi pretese e ci siamo adattati
