But here’s the thing about Prague’s Old Town: even the most unassuming doorways can surprise you, and this little apartment absolutely delivers on that promise.

The location is actually ridiculous (in the best way). You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Astronomical Clock, which means you can dodge the tour groups by ducking back to your place whenever the crowds get overwhelming – and trust me, they will around 11 AM and again at sunset. I mean, you’re right in the thick of things on a quiet cobblestone street that most tourists just walk past without noticing. The building itself has that weathered Prague charm where you can’t tell if it’s 200 or 400 years old, and honestly, it doesn’t matter because it just works. The two bedrooms are actually spacious enough that you won’t feel like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage, and whoever designed this place understood that travelers need real space to spread out after a day of wandering those medieval streets.

Now about that free coffee – look, it’s not some fancy espresso setup, but when you’re jet-lagged and stumbling around at 6 AM trying to figure out Czech time zones, having decent coffee waiting for you feels like a small miracle. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters more than you’d think when you realize that eating out for every meal in Prague’s tourist center will drain your wallet faster than you can say “goulash.” I actually ended up cooking breakfast most mornings and just sitting by the window watching the street vendors set up their stalls. The WiFi works well enough for video calls (tested it multiple times), and the heating system keeps things cozy even when Prague’s doing that thing where it’s sunny and freezing at the same time. The only minor thing – and I’m being picky here – is that the shower pressure isn’t amazing, but after walking 15,000 steps on cobblestones all day, you’ll be grateful for any hot water at all. What really sold me on this place is how it feels like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, but without any of the awkwardness of a traditional homestay. Plus, you can walk to Wenceslas Square, cross the Charles Bridge, or grab late-night beer at any of the local pubs without needing to figure out Prague’s tram system (though you should try it anyway – it’s pretty great).

  Beautiful cosy apartment in very silent and peaceful street, with old Prague genius loci. All major sightseeing points in close proximity. Everything looked as displayed on the pictures, tasteful furniture, comfortable beds. Nice bonus in form of cosmetics, bathroom necessities, coffee in the kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

  Location, comfort, TV, kitchen.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to dislike except a little nuisance. We were there at extremely cold weather and toilet floor would get real cold. So one needs some shoes/ slippers. I am mentioning this only to prepare whoever is reading. It is no big deal otherwise.
