Newly opened, designer OPERA Apartment

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to the Newly opened, designer OPERA Apartment on Krakovská street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Prague’s bustling center. This four-star property sits right in the thick of things — I mean, you’re literally steps from Wenceslas Square and the main shopping district. The building itself has that classic Prague charm from the outside, but once you step inside, it’s clear they’ve put serious thought into the design. Everything feels fresh and contemporary, which makes sense given it’s newly opened.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location here is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the heart of everything. You’re on Krakovská, which connects you directly to all the major sights — the Opera House is practically next door (hence the name, I suppose), and you can walk to Old Town Square in about ten minutes. What I really appreciate is that despite being so central, the street itself isn’t completely overrun with tourist crowds. You’ve got that nice mix of locals heading to work and visitors exploring, plus there’s a tram stop right nearby if you need to get around quickly. The couples who stay here seem to love it — and I can see why, especially for romantic evening strolls through the nearby parks.

The Apartment Experience

The designer aspect really shows once you’re inside your space. These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments with thoughtful layouts and modern furnishings that actually work for longer stays. The kitchenette setup is surprisingly functional (you know how some hotel kitchens are just for show), and there’s enough space to spread out your things without feeling cramped. What struck me most was the attention to detail in the finishes — everything from the lighting to the bathroom fixtures feels carefully chosen rather than just standard hotel issue.

Practical Perks

One thing that sets this place apart is the private parking available on site, which is honestly a game-changer in Prague’s city center. If you’ve ever tried to find parking around Wenceslas Square, you’ll know what I mean — it’s usually a nightmare. Having your own spot eliminates that stress completely. The building also has good security, which gives you peace of mind when you’re out exploring all day. Plus, since it’s newly opened, everything works properly — no quirky old elevators or temperamental air conditioning that you sometimes get in Prague’s older hotels.

Why Guests Love It

The combination of that prime location with modern comfort really hits the sweet spot for most travelers. You’re getting the best of both worlds — you can walk to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and all the main attractions without dealing with public transport, but you’re also coming back to a space that feels contemporary and well-designed. The fact that couples rate the location so highly tells you something about the romantic potential of the neighborhood, especially in the evenings when the nearby streets take on that magical Prague glow. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.

Comfortable apartment, had everything you need for cooking, as well as tea, coffee and milk for coffee. Polite hosts and comfortable accommodation. The apartments have a convenient location, close to cafes and shops, most tourist sites are within walking distance.

What could be improved: Everything was good.

The apartment was very close to everything. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Everything that we needed was provided.

What could be improved: The shower head needs to be attached to the wall. Needed a no. slip mat in the bath.
