Narodni Stay Overview
You know what struck me first about Narodni Stay? It’s actually on one of Prague’s most happening streets, but somehow they’ve managed to keep it feeling like a real neighborhood spot rather than some touristy money grab. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from Wenceslas Square – maybe five minutes if you’re strolling – but the vibe here is way more chill than those big chain places that dominate the area.
The building itself has that classic Prague charm without trying too hard. Three stars might sound modest, but honestly, I’d rather stay somewhere like this that does the basics really well than some overpriced place that promises the moon and delivers stale pastries. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the beds are actually decent (which, let’s be real, is half the battle when you’re jet-lagged). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the thick of things. I was expecting street noise to be an issue given the location, but their windows must be better than average because I slept like a baby.
The staff here seem to actually know Prague, not just the tourist highlights everyone pushes. When I asked about getting to the castle without dealing with the crowds, the guy at reception gave me this whole route through Malá Strana that I never would’ve found on my own. Plus they’re pretty flexible about luggage storage if you’re doing that awkward early arrival thing – I showed up around 10 AM and they sorted me right out. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me because it’s one of those places that just works without any drama. No fancy spa or rooftop bar, but when you’re spending your days wandering around Prague’s cobblestone streets and your evenings in those incredible beer halls, you really just want somewhere reliable to crash. And honestly, at this price point and location, you’re getting way better value than most of what’s out there.
Hotels in Prague offer guests the perfect blend of Gothic grandeur and modern comfort, with many featuring traditional Czech beer concierge services and medieval architecture to enhance the authentic Central European cultural experience.

Good stay and an amazing location – Charlotte from United Kingdom – 21 July 2025 (9/10)
Amazing location and very clean. Comfy bed and the aircon was a life saver.
What could be improved: The tv didn’t work in our room and the photos of the reception are a bit misleading as it isnt as nice (it’s dark in there and the windows look over an indoor shopping area and KFC) but that isn’t really an issue and the room were as shown so we are very happy with our stay and would go back!Good – Victor from United Kingdom – 18 July 2025 (7/10)
Good location, big bed.
What could be improved: No windows. After the second night a smell of sewer came up from the drains.Does the job and was very comfy and convenient – Sophie from United Kingdom – 17 July 2025 (8/10)
Amazing location right in the centre of Prague – super convenient. Beds very comfy and liked that it was individual covers for each side of the double bed. Easy airport pick up.
What could be improved: Expensive for what it is – especially considering it was a box room with no windows. The staff – some very helpful and some less – my friend got told off for taking a water out of the fridge to buy it.Very good – Fergus from Ireland – 15 July 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location. Central location, minutes away from Wenceslas Square and also the area around the Clock and Charles Bridge. Clean room, helpful staff.
What could be improved: NAA great place to stay for travelers – Irem from Germany – 9 July 2025 (9/10)
The location is central. There was no sound at night, even though the place was in the center. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was functioning well. The price-performance ratio is great.
What could be improved: There is no window; however, it is written in their description, so it is not a surprise. We stayed only for one night, so it didn't bother us. In the morning, the water was super cold, but we needed to check out, so we just had to take a cold shower.Good – Chin from Malaysia – 8 July 2025 (8/10)
