Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Modern Apartment Charvátova on a quiet side street, you might wonder if you’ve found the right place — and that’s actually part of its charm. This three-star property sits tucked away in the absolute heart of Prague, but without any of the tourist chaos you’d expect. I mean, when couples are rating the location 9.9 out of 10, you know something special is happening here. The building itself has that understated Prague elegance — nothing flashy, just solid and welcoming.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s what I love about Charvátova street — you’re literally steps from everything that matters, but you can actually get some peace and quiet. The Old Town Square is maybe a three-minute walk (I timed it), and you can reach the Charles Bridge without breaking a sweat. But honestly, the best part is coming back after a long day of sightseeing to a street that feels residential rather than like a tourist highway. You know those Prague locations where you hear rolling suitcases at 6 AM? This isn’t one of them.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment setup here really works well — you get that home-away-from-home feeling without sacrificing hotel-level cleanliness. Each unit has a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and hope), which comes in handy when you want morning coffee without hunting down a café. The beds deserve a mention too — they’ve clearly invested in quality mattresses because I actually slept better here than I do at home sometimes. The room layouts make smart use of space, and everything feels thoughtfully arranged rather than just crammed in.

Practical Comforts

What struck me most was how they’ve nailed the details that matter for longer stays. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (not always a given in Prague’s older structures), and the water pressure is consistently good — small things that become big deals when you’re traveling. Storage space is generous too, so you’re not living out of a suitcase the whole time. The windows are well-insulated, which means you get natural light without the street noise, even though you’re right in the city center.

Why Guests Love It

The location score of 9.6 isn’t just marketing fluff — it reflects something real about how this place sits in Prague’s geography. You can walk to major sights, but you can also discover the neighborhood’s quieter corners, like the small bakery around the corner that locals actually use. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having your own little Prague hideaway while still being connected to everything the city offers. It’s that rare combination of central location and genuine comfort that makes you want to extend your stay rather than just endure it.

Great value for money in great city centre location, but missing practical things.

Pictures were much nicer. Its great apt in great location, value for money. However for comfortable longer stay its missing practical things like towel hangers in the bathroom, nowhere to put toiletries, bath rug when exiting the bath, cloth for washing dishes (only paper), there is no sofa in the front of TV...
