Okay, so MN6 Luxury Suites – honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Masarykovo nábřeží, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself is pretty understated from the street, which I actually liked. You know what I mean? Sometimes these luxury places try way too hard with the flashy entrance, but this one just sits there confidently along the embankment like it knows it’s got something good going on.

The location is what really got me though. I mean, you’re literally steps from the Vltava River, and when I say steps, I’m talking maybe thirty seconds of walking before you’re looking out over the water toward Prague Castle. Most people don’t realize how quiet this stretch of the embankment gets in the evenings – during the day you’ll have tourists wandering around, sure, but after dinner it’s surprisingly peaceful for being so central. The tram stop at Národní divadlo is close enough that you can hear it if you’re really listening, but it never bothered me. Actually made me feel more connected to the city, if that makes sense.

Inside, well… the suites live up to that 5-star rating, but in a way that feels more like staying in someone’s really well-appointed apartment than a hotel. The rooms are genuinely spacious – I could actually unpack my entire suitcase without playing Tetris with my stuff, which was refreshing. The kitchenettes are functional too, not just for show. I ended up grabbing groceries from that little Tesco on Národní (about a five-minute walk) and making coffee in the morning instead of paying hotel prices. The beds are ridiculously comfortable, and I’m someone who usually takes forever to adjust to new mattresses.

What surprised me most was how the staff handled things – they’re there when you need them but never hovering around trying to be overly helpful. Check-in was smooth, maybe ten minutes tops, and they actually gave me useful recommendations instead of just pointing me toward the tourist traps. One guy at the front desk told me about this little wine bar tucked away near Kampa Island that I never would have found otherwise.

The only thing that might catch some people off guard is that it’s not one of those hotels where everything’s included or there’s a big lobby scene happening. It’s more… refined, I guess? You’re paying for the location, the space, and the quality, not for a bunch of amenities you might not use anyway. Parking can be tricky around there – I mean, it’s the city center, so that’s pretty much expected – but they do have arrangements with a garage nearby.

Honestly, if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Prague rather than just visiting it, this place nails that vibe. You can walk to Old Town in fifteen minutes, catch a show at the National Theatre practically next door, or just sit by your window in the evening watching the light change over the castle. It’s one of those spots where the 8.9 rating actually makes sense when you experience it.
