Hotel Description
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Mila Apartments on Biskupský dvůr, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. It’s tucked into this narrow cobblestone street that feels almost hidden from the tourist chaos, which actually turned out to be one of its biggest selling points. You know how Prague 1 can get absolutely nuts with tour groups? Well, this little pocket stays surprisingly quiet, even during peak summer months.
The apartments themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – and I mean that in the best way. These aren’t those sterile corporate rentals you see everywhere. Someone clearly put effort into making each unit feel like an actual home rather than a hotel room with a kitchenette slapped in. The furniture has character (some pieces look genuinely vintage Czech), and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect from a 3-star place. I slept like a rock every night, which is saying something because I’m usually a light sleeper in new places. The kitchens are small but functional – I managed to cook actual meals, not just reheat leftovers. There’s this local grocery store called Tesco Express about a three-minute walk away on Národní, perfect for grabbing basics without the tourist markup you get near Old Town Square.
What really sold me on this place was the location knowledge you get just by staying here. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk to the Charles Bridge, but more importantly, you’re right in the mix of where actual Prague happens. There’s this incredible traditional pub called U Fleků just around the corner – I mean, it’s been brewing beer since 1499, and the locals still pack it. The tram stop at Národní třída is super close too, so getting to Prague Castle or anywhere else is dead simple. I actually preferred walking though – you end up discovering these amazing little streets and cafés that aren’t in any guidebook. The staff (well, really it’s more like a small team) knows the neighborhood inside and out. They pointed me toward this tiny bakery on Spálená that makes the best koláče I’ve ever had – probably saved me from eating overpriced tourist pastries all week. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and they’re pretty flexible if your flight gets delayed or whatever. The building can get a bit echo-y in the stairwell, but the actual apartments are well-insulated. Just don’t expect a gym or fancy lobby – this is about location and comfort, not amenities. For the price point and that 8.7 rating, it makes total sense. You’re paying for a genuine Prague experience, not a sanitized hotel bubble.

Location: easy to reach bus station.
Environment: silent, even it is in a commercial area
In room facilities: have simple kitchen equipment and washing machine.
Bed: bed is good for me.
What could be improved: It might be better if having a safety box in the room.
Also it is suggested to have a electric socket near the bed.
It might not be too much convenient for people with large luggage because there is no elevator. Luckily I lived on ground floor this time.Exceptional – Liz from United Kingdom – 30 May 2025 (10/10)
Excellent location. Quiet street yet so close to everything.
Kitchen well equipped , it was nice to have tea and coffee provided.
Comfortable beds and good bathroom.
It was good to have a bit of heating in the evening, we did not expect it , it was a nice surprise.Great stay in Prague close to bus station and old town – Kanja from South Africa – 23 May 2025 (9/10)
Mila Apartments is in a great location for walking distance to the bus station but still close enough to the old town, which was important to us. It was comfortable and peaceful for our 3-day trip to Prague with some good amenities such as a shared kitchen and some bathroom supplies such as shampoo and conditioner.
What could be improved: Just note that it has a lot of stairs (we were on the third floor) for travellers with heavy suitcases. Decor is perhaps a little dated, although this didn’t bother us.Recommended for families. – Jurgita from Lithuania – 11 May 2025 (10/10)
Perfect location – central yet quiet. Spacious rooms, all kitchen appliances one might need for a week’s stay. Walking distance from downtown.
A beautiful apartment, close to the old and new town – Catriona from United Kingdom – 31 March 2025 (10/10)
We cannot speak highly enough about this appartment. We booked at extremely short notice, but the host was fantastic. The apartment was ready and we had the entry instructions in plenty of time. The appartment was spacious and very clean. The wee touches were much appreciated, coffee tea, sugar and milk were supplied. There was also cleaning products for us, dishes and laundry.
The location is perfect. A short walk to the old or new town, and surrounded by lovely restaurants. It’s also a short walk to a choice of supermarkets, a deli cheese shop, pharmacies and souvenir shops.
If you are graced with good weather there is a balcony on each floor and a courtyard to enjoy some fresh air.
We’ve been to Prague many times and this is one of our favourite apartments.
What could be improved: Nothing we didn’t like!
