Mila Apartments Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Mila Apartments feels like discovering a well-kept secret tucked away in one of Prague’s most coveted corners. The building sits on Biskupský dvůr, which honestly sounds intimidating to pronounce but is actually this charming little street that puts you right in the thick of everything. You know what struck me first? How quiet it feels despite being so central — there’s something about the way the building is positioned that just shields you from the tourist chaos outside.

Location That Actually Matters

I mean, everyone says their hotel has a great location, but this three-star property genuinely delivers on that promise. You’re literally steps from Prague Castle and Charles Bridge — I’m talking a five-minute stroll, not some inflated “walking distance” claim. The Old Town Square is right there too, which means you can pop out for dinner or drinks and stumble back without needing to figure out public transport. Couples seem to get this immediately (they rate the location 9.5, which honestly makes perfect sense when you experience it yourself).

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment here feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed place than a typical hotel room. The spaces are thoughtfully designed — not huge, but everything has its place and the layout actually works. I particularly appreciated the little kitchen setup, which isn’t always a given in Prague’s city center. It’s nothing fancy, but having a fridge and basic cooking facilities means you can grab fresh bread from the local bakeries and have a proper breakfast without rushing downstairs.

Breakfast and Daily Rhythms

Speaking of breakfast — they do offer a continental spread that’s perfectly adequate, though I found myself gravitating toward the local cafés just outside. There’s something special about starting your day with proper Czech coffee and watching the city wake up from one of the nearby terraces. The restaurant scene around here is incredible, actually — you’ve got everything from traditional Czech pubs to modern bistros within a two-block radius.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets Mila Apartments apart is how it balances that authentic Prague experience with genuine comfort. You’re not staying in some sterile chain hotel, but you’re also not roughing it in a questionable hostel. The staff knows the neighborhood inside and out — they’ll point you toward the best goulash or help you avoid the tourist traps that plague this part of the city. Parking can be tricky in this area (as it is everywhere in Prague’s center), but they’ll sort you out with options if you’re driving. Honestly, the 8.7 rating feels about right — it’s not trying to be something it isn’t, but what it does, it does really well.

  • Very good – Chia-chi from Taiwan – 9 June 2025 (8/10)

Location: easy to reach bus station.
Environment: silent, even it is in a commercial area
In room facilities: have simple kitchen equipment and washing machine.
Bed: bed is good for me.

What could be improved: It might be better if having a safety box in the room.
Also it is suggested to have a electric socket near the bed.
It might not be too much convenient for people with large luggage because there is no elevator. Luckily I lived on ground floor this time.

  • Exceptional – Liz from United Kingdom – 30 May 2025 (10/10)

Excellent location. Quiet street yet so close to everything.
Kitchen well equipped , it was nice to have tea and coffee provided.
    Comfortable beds and good bathroom.
It was good to have a bit of heating in the evening, we did not expect it , it was a nice surprise.

  • Great stay in Prague close to bus station and old town – Kanja from South Africa – 23 May 2025 (9/10)

Mila Apartments is in a great location for walking distance to the bus station but still close enough to the old town, which was important to us. It was comfortable and peaceful for our 3-day trip to Prague with some good amenities such as a shared kitchen and some bathroom supplies such as shampoo and conditioner.

What could be improved: Just note that it has a lot of stairs (we were on the third floor) for travellers with heavy suitcases. Decor is perhaps a little dated, although this didn’t bother us.

  • Recommended for families. – Jurgita from Lithuania – 11 May 2025 (10/10)

Perfect location – central yet quiet. Spacious rooms, all kitchen appliances one might need for a week’s stay. Walking distance from downtown.

  • A beautiful apartment, close to the old and new town – Catriona from United Kingdom – 31 March 2025 (10/10)

We cannot speak highly enough about this appartment. We booked at extremely short notice, but the host was fantastic. The apartment was ready and we had the entry instructions in plenty of time. The appartment was spacious and very clean. The wee touches were much appreciated, coffee tea, sugar and milk were supplied. There was also cleaning products for us, dishes and laundry.
The location is perfect. A short walk to the old or new town, and surrounded by lovely restaurants. It’s also a short walk to a choice of supermarkets, a deli cheese shop, pharmacies and souvenir shops.
If you are graced with good weather there is a balcony on each floor and a courtyard to enjoy some fresh air.
We’ve been to Prague many times and this is one of our favourite apartments.

What could be improved: Nothing we didn’t like!
