What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Haštalská isn’t one of those streets where you’ll have drunk stag parties stumbling past at 2 AM.

The rooms are what you’d expect from a proper 4-star place, but with actual character. None of that sterile chain hotel nonsense. My room had these tall windows that looked out over the cobblestone courtyard, and honestly, waking up to that view never got old. The beds are genuinely comfortable – I’m talking good sleep after walking 15,000 steps through Prague’s hills all day. Breakfast was solid too, though I’d still recommend wandering down to one of the local bakeries for proper Czech pastries at least once during your stay. The hotel’s restaurant is decent for dinner if you’re too tired to venture out, but you’re in Prague… there’s incredible food everywhere within walking distance.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart – it strikes that perfect balance between being fancy enough that you feel special, but not so precious that you’re afraid to actually use the amenities. The concierge will book you restaurant reservations without making you feel like you’re bothering them, and they actually have good suggestions. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area (honestly, just take the tram from the airport), but if you’re driving, they’ll sort you out. The whole experience just feels… right, you know? Like someone put actual thought into making sure guests have a good time rather than just checking boxes on some corporate hospitality list.
