Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Magnificent Apartment with Sauna and Billiards on Řeznická Street, you know you’ve found something special. This four-star property sits right in the thick of Prague‘s Old Town — I mean, you’re literally steps from the main action. The building itself has that classic Prague charm with its historic facade, but what really caught my attention was how quiet the street feels despite being so central.

Location & Getting Around

Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect if you want to explore Prague on foot. You’re about a three-minute walk from Old Town Square, and I found myself constantly stumbling upon those gorgeous medieval streets that Prague is famous for. The Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, all the major sights — they’re all within easy walking distance. What I really appreciated was how the neighborhood feels authentically local, not just touristy. There are actual Czech pubs and small shops mixed in with the tourist spots.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself is where this place really shines. It’s spacious — way more room than you’d expect in central Prague — and the layout actually makes sense for couples or small groups. The kitchen is fully equipped, which came in handy when we wanted to grab groceries from the local market and have a quiet evening in. But here’s the thing that sets it apart: they’ve got a proper billiards table and a private sauna. I’ll be honest, after long days of walking around Prague’s cobblestones, that sauna was absolutely perfect.

Comfort & Amenities

The main room is comfortable and well-appointed, with good heating (important in Prague winters, trust me) and decent Wi-Fi throughout. The billiards table isn’t just for show either — it’s a full-size table that actually gets used. We ended up spending a couple of evenings just relaxing, playing pool, and planning the next day’s adventures. The sauna fits about two people comfortably, and it heats up quickly. There’s also parking available, which is honestly a godsend in this part of Prague where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

Why Guests Love It

What really works about this place is how it gives you the best of both worlds — you’re in the heart of everything Prague has to offer, but you’ve got this private retreat to come back to. The combination of the central location (they boast an 8.4 location score, and I can see why) with those unique amenities like the sauna and billiards makes it feel special. Couples particularly seem to love it here, and I get it — there’s something romantic about having your own little Prague hideaway with these fun extras. The restaurant scene around here is fantastic too, with everything from traditional Czech taverns to modern bistros just around the corner.
