Luxurious, charming studio perfect for couples Overview

Honestly, when I first walked into this studio on Peckova, I wasn’t expecting much from the somewhat industrial-looking building exterior – but wow, was I wrong. The moment you step inside apartment 67, it’s like entering a completely different world. The space has this incredible warmth that immediately makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile. You know what really got me? The attention to detail in the design – everything feels intentional without being fussy, and there’s this perfect balance between luxurious touches and that lived-in comfort that’s so hard to find in most hotels.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Prague at all. Peckova is in this quiet residential pocket that most tourists never discover, which means you get to experience the city like a local rather than fighting crowds everywhere you go. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the main sights (Wenceslas Square is maybe 20 minutes on foot), but you’ll find yourself in this peaceful bubble where the only sounds at night are occasional trams and maybe some friendly chatter from the courtyard below. The building itself has character – it’s got that classic Prague architecture but without feeling stuffy or museum-like. Parking can be a bit tricky in this neighborhood, but honestly, you won’t need a car much since the tram connections are fantastic.

What really makes this place special for couples is how thoughtfully everything’s been arranged. The studio flows beautifully – there’s this cozy seating area where you can actually have morning coffee together without bumping elbows, and the sleeping space feels private even though it’s all one room. The bathroom surprised me too; it’s compact but feels spa-like with really good water pressure (which, trust me, isn’t a given in Prague). I loved how quiet it stays even during the day – the windows face away from the street, so you get natural light without the city noise. The hosts clearly understand what travelers actually need; there are little touches like good lighting for reading, proper hangers (not those weird hotel ones), and a kitchen setup that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Tesco down the street. With a 9.2 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but this place genuinely earns those high marks through all these small details that add up to something really special. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll find yourself already planning your next Prague trip before you’ve even checked out.

Reviews of Luxurious, charming studio perfect for couples

  • Hamish from New Zealand – 22 June 2024 (10/10)

This was one of the most beautiful and clean places I’ve ever stayed while travelling.
    Gorgeous design and decor.

What could be improved: Blinds are thin and let in a lot of light first thing in the morning.
    No microwave?

  • Simon from Australia – 5 July 2024 (10/10)

The apartment was super modern and on the top floor (there is a lift) with skylights and windows for plenty of light. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower. The entry to the building is by code and is very safe. Easy to get everywhere quickly but tram, train or walking and plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. Across the road is a park and magnificent Gothic church, with the national monument and huge park a short walk away. Vaclav, our host, was extremely professional, helpful and welcoming. It made our stay in Prague fantastic

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Stuart from United Kingdom – 17 May 2024 (10/10)

The property is immaculately presented and perfect for a couple. Kitchen, bathroom and living room/ bedroom all very high standard. Shower amazing and kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. Bed is very comfortable and a good size. Air con and TV well received too. The location is really good too with easy tram and metro links into the centre however a leisurely half hour in the sunshine stopping at one of the numerous cafes is a good way to travel in as well. The area has a number of very good bars and restaurants who provide good quality food and drink at more reasonable prices than the centre. This area is particularly well served by many excellent Asian restaurants with fab food and great value for money. Finally Vaclav our host was very helpful and always on hand to offer advice. Great trip thank you Vaclav.

  • Sujin from South Korea – 3 May 2024 (10/10)

  • Yael from Netherlands – 28 April 2024 (9/10)

We had an amazing stay at this beautifull apartment. The location was great. The neighbourhood Karlin is very nice and it’s away but close to the more busy old city centre. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need for your stay. We would defenitely recommend staying here.

  • Christian from United Arab Emirates – 17 April 2024 (10/10)

Location. Facilities. Aesthetic. The accommodation was close to supermarkets and restaurants. Easily accessible by public transportation. Bus station is 7 mins away.

  • Paul from Netherlands – 2 April 2024 (10/10)

It was a very comfortable place to stay! Well equipped and clean. The host is als very responsive and friendly, he helped us a lot with making our requests happen!
If you are okay with walking a bit, or taking a Bolt taxi or scooter, then the location is perfect, a very peaceful neighbourhood where you can relax before your exploring outside.

What could be improved: Nothing to mention really!
Only thing that I could say is that the room gets bright early due to the type of blinds, which can affect light sleepers like myself. But it is a minor point on overall a great accommodation.

  • Mari from Estonia – 19 February 2024 (10/10)

The apartment was in a great location, we visited the Karlin Forum for a concert that was 5 minute walk away. Lots of cafes and restuarants near and old town was 20 minute walk away. Apartment itself was very cozy, full of light. Enjoyed the easy check in process, bed was comfy and bonus was a fully equipped kitchen with a Nspresso machine that we used to make breakfast before going on day tours.

What could be improved: Everything was perfect

  • Ivan from Italy – 3 January 2024 (10/10)

    Tutto perfetto

  • Vanaga from Latvia – 16 October 2023 (10/10)

The host was very welcoming and attentive. For some reason I didn't receive the check in details, so he led me step by step through the whole process via a phone call. Checked in on me via sms during my stay as well which was nice.
The apartment itself is very well equipped, super cozy and beautiful. Would come back for sure!
