Loreta Hotel

Loreta location was perfect for us. It was a quiet street near the castle and the beauty of Castle Hill. We appreciated our hosts' helpfulness and the lovely breakfasts in the dining room. The room was very charming with the painted ceiling and furnishings. An in room safe and refrigerator was a plus. The heated towel bar in the bathroom was also a nice touch.

What could be improved: A simple side table or shelf in the bathroom would've been handy for keeping personal items, make up etc handy since there is space available. We initially were unsure where the front door of the hotel was. Signage or written directions could be helpful. We did appreciate the security of the hotel after figuring this part out.

Everything was perfect . There are ten private Rooms within a courtyard which was an old monastery. Staff are always helpful, kind. There is always fresh water and goodies available for clients after the reception closes in the hallway. The hotel is located close to the castle. There are buses and tram stops very near if you don’t like walking up the cobbled streets of Prague. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for everything. If felt like home and it had everything you needed.

What could be improved: Small room for 3 of us but appreciate this is due to the nature of the building.

Warm welcome, cosy, good location, great breakfast. Cute and quiet, solo ensuite room with private entrance facing the garden, warm and clean. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Great location for visiting Christmas markets and other points of interest.

What could be improved: The walk back up the streets to the hotel is a steep climb but very rewarding when you reach the top and interesting shops/boutiques and refreshments along the way.

What could be improved: The lack of blackout courtains

Loved it. It’s a historic property and so is quite special. The location is fabulous, only a 15-min walk to Lesser Town. We stayed on the other side of the river the first few days, so the combination of locations was good. Breakfast is tasty and feels more like a large B&B than a hotel, which we liked. It was -2 degrees when we stayed and I expected an old hotel like this to be cold at night. But in the end we were very warm.

What could be improved: A very small thing. The automatic light sensors don’t always turn on when leaving some of the rooms where there’s a steep step in front of the door. We were fine but I was nervous about missing the step!

Very good location in old town, very close to Prague Castle and a 10 min walk to public transportation. The staff was very kind and we have no complaints
