Lenka’s got two options here: a red studio and a gold apartment, both sitting pretty in this residential neighborhood that feels authentically Prague without the tourist chaos you’ll find around Old Town Square.

The thing about staying in Vinohrady is that you’re living like locals do, which I mean, isn’t that why we travel? You’ll walk past the same corner bakery every morning (grab a koláč if they have them), and there’s this great little pub called Café Louvre about ten minutes away where Kafka used to hang out – though honestly, half the places in Prague claim that. What I loved most was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to the action that Wenceslas Square is maybe a 15-minute tram ride, but far enough out that you can actually sleep without drunk tourists singing outside your window at 2 AM.

The apartments themselves are… well, cozy is right there in the name, but it’s not code for “cramped” like it sometimes is. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward key-pickup-from-a-random-café situation you sometimes get with these smaller places. And parking – if you’re driving, there’s street parking that’s not impossible to find, though I’d honestly recommend just using the trams since they’ll get you anywhere you want to go faster anyway.
