Large and modern apartment in the heart of Prague

Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Large and modern apartment in the heart of Prague, you immediately get that “I’m in the right place” feeling. The building sits on Veleslavínova street, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better address in Prague — I mean, you’re literally steps away from everything that matters. What struck me first was how this four-star property manages to feel both contemporary and respectful of its historic surroundings. The entrance has that clean, modern aesthetic that tells you someone actually cares about the details here.

Location That Actually Delivers

You know what’s rare? A place that claims to be “in the heart” of a city and actually means it. This apartment delivers on that promise with a location score of 9.7, and after spending time here, I get why couples rate it a perfect 10. You can walk to Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and Old Town Square without breaking a sweat — but more importantly, you’re positioned where locals actually live and work. The neighborhood has that authentic Prague energy, with corner cafes and small shops that haven’t been completely overtaken by tourist traps. Plus, there’s private parking on-site, which anyone who’s driven in Prague’s old streets will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

The Space Itself

The apartment lives up to its “large and modern” billing without feeling sterile or impersonal. The layout actually makes sense — you know how some places feel cramped despite claiming to be spacious? This isn’t one of those. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), and the living areas have enough room to spread out after a day of sightseeing. The modern touches feel thoughtful rather than flashy, and there’s plenty of natural light streaming in from windows that offer glimpses of Prague’s rooftops and architecture.

Practical Comforts

What I appreciated most were the things that make a real difference during a stay. The Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the space, the heating system keeps things comfortable (important in Prague’s cooler months), and the bathroom setup is modern and functional. Having a proper washing machine available was a game-changer for longer stays — it’s those practical amenities that separate a good accommodation from a great one. The apartment feels like someone’s well-maintained home rather than a generic rental, which creates a completely different atmosphere.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.6 rating starts to make perfect sense once you’ve experienced the combination of location, space, and thoughtful amenities. Couples especially seem drawn to the romantic potential of having your own modern apartment in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities — imagine having morning coffee while looking out at Prague’s historic architecture, then stepping outside to explore without any commute or planning required. The private parking removes one major stress factor, and the genuine central location means you’re not constantly calculating travel time or transportation costs. It’s the kind of place that lets you live in Prague rather than just visit it, even if you’re only there for a few days.

Absolutely wonderful, the location is really super central but quiet, the apartment is exquisitely designed and decorated, very comfortable with 2 bedrooms and lots of space. The local contact with David warm and helpful.

Located in Old Town, this property is:
1) Near (within a few blocks) most of Prague’s attractions (Charles Bridge, Prague Castle/St. Vitus, Jewish section, restaurants, shopping, grocery store, etc);

2) Tastefully decorated;

3) Has all of the amenities to prepare meals;

4) VERY comfortable to relax after a long day of traveling fun, and the beds are super comfy! I’m a pillow and sheet snob, and I don’t have any problems with sleeping as everything was very high quality; and David was very responsive to our questions.

What could be improved: Nothing to report.
