Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about La Boutique? It’s the kind of place that feels intentionally hidden – tucked away on Vltavská street in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t found yet. I mean, you’re technically in Holešovice, which honestly isn’t where most tourists end up, but that’s actually part of its charm. The whole area has this authentic Prague vibe without the constant bustle of Old Town, and you’re still only a quick tram ride from all the major sights. The building itself has that perfect balance of historic character and modern comfort – original hardwood floors that creak just enough to remind you you’re in a centuries-old city, but with updated bathrooms that actually have decent water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re on day three of sightseeing).
What really sets this place apart is how the staff genuinely seems to care about your experience rather than just processing you through. During check-in, the front desk guy – I think his name was Pavel – actually pulled out a hand-drawn map and marked his favorite local spots, including this incredible bakery around the corner that opens at 6 AM and makes the best koláče I’ve had outside my Czech friend’s grandmother’s kitchen. The rooms themselves hit that sweet spot of boutique without being pretentious – clean lines, comfortable beds, and those little touches like local artwork and quality linens that make you feel like someone put actual thought into the design. I stayed in one of the corner rooms and honestly, the morning light streaming in while I had my coffee was just… well, it’s the kind of moment that makes you remember why you travel in the first place.
The location really grows on you the longer you stay. Sure, you’re not stumbling distance from Charles Bridge, but you’re walking distance to DOX gallery (which is incredible if you’re into contemporary art), and there’s something refreshing about coming home to a neighborhood where people actually live rather than just sell souvenirs. The 8.6 rating makes total sense – it’s not perfect, the elevator is tiny and sometimes the WiFi gets spotty on the third floor, but these feel like minor quirks rather than real problems. What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night; you can actually sleep without earplugs, which is rare in European city centers. If you’re the type who wants to experience Prague like someone who lives there rather than just checking boxes off a tourist list, La Boutique gets it right. It’s refined enough for a special trip but unpretentious enough that you can just relax and enjoy being somewhere genuinely lovely.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Prague through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich medieval heritage.

The hotel enjoys a great location close to the main attractions, making it easy to get around the surrounding area. The room was spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very varied: fresh fruit, cakes and hot dishes, all of which were of excellent quality. All in all a pleasant stay with friendly staff and excellent service.
What could be improved: Price per room too high.Violeta from Germany – 2 December 2024 (8/10)
Room was big and clean. It is a small hotel. Parking on the street, easy to find a parking place nearby. Breakfast had good quality products. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but plenty of possibilities around to order/ buy food.
What could be improved: Breakfast buffet was not having croissants and fish. But it had enough tasty things.Dee from United Kingdom – 1 December 2024 (9/10)

The hotel is really nice. The rooms are pretty and clean. The bathroom is fantastic. The place is close to the metro and trams but is still quiet. It is also not far from the most places of interest. The personnel is extremely friendly.
