Kubelíkova 32 Residence

Overview

You know what struck me first about Kubelíkova 32? It’s tucked into this residential street in Vinohrady that actually feels like Prague – not the tourist bubble around Old Town, but where people genuinely live and work. I mean, you’re still only about 15 minutes by tram to Wenceslas Square, but walking out the front door, you’re surrounded by local cafés and that gorgeous Art Nouveau architecture that makes this neighborhood so special.

The building itself is this beautifully restored early 20th-century place that somehow nails that sweet spot between historical character and modern comfort. The apartments (because that’s really what they are – proper residences, not hotel rooms) have these high ceilings and original details that remind you you’re in a city with serious architectural heritage. But honestly, what impressed me most was how thoughtfully everything’s been updated. The kitchens are actually functional – like, you could cook a real meal if you wanted to, not just heat up leftovers. And the Wi-Fi is rock solid, which matters more than it should when you’re trying to work remotely or just want to video call home without dropping every five minutes.

The location really grows on you too. Náměstí Míru is basically your backyard – that’s the main square in Vinohrady with the stunning neo-Gothic church and some of the best people-watching in the city. There’s this fantastic farmers market on Saturdays that most tourists never discover, and the whole area has this lived-in vibe that’s refreshing after dealing with the crowds around the castle. Plus, parking is actually manageable here (well, as manageable as it gets in Prague), and the tram connections are brilliant. The 22 tram basically becomes your lifeline – it’ll take you straight to the National Theatre or connect you to the metro without any fuss. Look, with a 9.3 rating, clearly other people have figured out what makes this place work, and I get it. It’s not trying to be flashy or oversell itself – it’s just genuinely comfortable and smart about what travelers actually need. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, the place stays quiet even on weekends (these old buildings have thick walls), and there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that feels more like borrowing a friend’s well-appointed apartment than occupying a sterile hotel room.

Prague hotels range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town Square to elegant castle-view hotels and modern accommodations near Wenceslas Square.

A spacious, bright, and super clean apartment. A special thanks to the cleaner for such cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable and wide! This apartment with plenty of closets for personal belongings. My recommendation for every traveler. Many thanks to Dominika for the quick response❤️!

What could be improved: Consider adding something for outerwear in the hallway, even just simple wall hooks. Laundry detergent would also be helpful, especially for families with children😁.
