You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Klimentská 52 – honestly, the street looked pretty ordinary from the outside. But this place completely surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s tucked right in the heart of New Town, which sounds touristy but actually puts you smack in the middle of where Prague locals actually live and work. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Old Town Square (yeah, that one with the astronomical clock), but here’s the thing – you’re on a quieter residential street that doesn’t feel like a tourist zoo.

The residence itself has this understated elegance that I really appreciated. The rooms are spacious – and I mean actually spacious, not European “spacious” where you can barely open your suitcase. The design feels modern but not sterile, with these nice touches like proper blackout curtains (thank god) and bathrooms that don’t require you to be a contortionist to shower. I stayed on the third floor and barely heard any street noise, which was a relief because Prague can get pretty lively, especially on weekends. The beds are seriously comfortable too – I’m talking about that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough but don’t feel like you’re drowning in marshmallows.

What really won me over was the location’s practicality. Sure, you’re close to all the major sights, but more importantly, you’re near actual grocery stores, cafes where locals grab their morning coffee, and the Náměstí Republiky metro station is maybe a seven-minute walk. That metro connection is clutch because it gets you anywhere in the city without dealing with Prague’s… let’s call it “creative” taxi pricing. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions – they actually knew the neighborhood and could point you toward the good restaurant recommendations, not just the obvious tourist traps. I found myself coming back each evening feeling like I’d discovered a little secret hideaway in the middle of one of Europe’s busiest cities. With a 9.1 rating, it’s clearly not just me who feels this way, and honestly, after staying here, I get why people keep coming back to this particular spot on Klimentská Street.

  The apartment was absolutely lovely! Very comfortable and clean, well equipped with all you may need. The location was excellent, very close to the old town and so many lovely restaurants literally next door!
  
  What could be improved: Due to the very high temperatures, the apartment was very hot inside. There was only one fan but it didn't cool the air, so sleeping was very hard 🙁

  Fantastic spacious apartment only around a 17 min walk to the old town square. The apartment was clean and the bed was very comfortable also. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would also stay here again!

  The location was excellent away from the main tourist area. Close to transit. Large Apartment. Fan in bedroom was key. Loved the storage and the kitchen was well equipped. Nice bottle of champagne for New Years. The washing machine was super worked well. Very secure location and quiet even during the new year. Internet was excellent. Comfy beds. Nice TV. Dishwasher and full sized fridge. Host was wonderful!
  
  What could be improved: Couch in the living room was broken was afraid to damage it. There were no extra trash bags we had to improvise. Would be great if the laundry soap was in the cabinet. Towels were very thin and there weren't two proper bath towels. Instructions for the laundry would have been great, we figured it out eventually,
