Bubeneč is actually brilliant for travelers who want to feel like they’re living in Prague rather than just visiting it. You’re close enough to the castle district that you can walk there in about 15 minutes, but far enough from the tourist crowds that you’ll find yourself sharing the streets with people heading to work or walking their dogs. There’s a decent tram connection right nearby — I mean, this is Prague, so public transport gets you anywhere you need to go. The area has that residential feel where you’ll discover small cafes and local shops that aren’t trying to sell you overpriced souvenirs.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment I stayed in was exactly what you’d want for a longer stay in the city. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen setup — not just a mini-fridge and microwave, but actual cooking facilities if you want to grab groceries from the local market. The room layout felt spacious compared to typical hotel accommodations, and there’s something refreshing about having a separate living area where you can spread out. The furnishings are modern without being sterile, and you know what? The Wi-Fi actually worked consistently, which isn’t always a given in older Prague buildings.

Practical Perks

One thing that really stood out was the on-site parking — if you’re driving in Prague (which honestly isn’t necessary, but some people prefer it), having a guaranteed spot is worth its weight in gold. The building is well-maintained, and the staff, while not hovering, were genuinely helpful when I needed local recommendations. They seem to understand that apartment-style guests want a bit more independence than typical hotel visitors, so they strike that balance well between being available and giving you space.

I can see why couples rate this place so highly for romantic trips — there’s something intimate about having your own little Prague apartment rather than a standard hotel room. You can pick up wine and cheese from the local shops, cook dinner together, and feel like you’re actually living in the city for a few days.   The location is really nice, beautiful parks nearby, easy to commute to the city center, apartment is nice and clean.
  
  What could be improved: The only tricky thing was that the apartment is located on the 5th floor and there’s no elevator so it’s quite hard to get all the luggage upstairs.

  KK Apartments are very spacious and ideally located in town. Although it is close to many night spots, the apartments have double glazing, and one can get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is equipped with everything should you wish to make meals.
