Check-in was smooth – they actually remembered I was arriving late and left a note about the nearby 24-hour tram stop (which, by the way, is a godsend if you’re flying into Václav Havel late). The rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, and I loved that the shower actually has decent water pressure – you’d be surprised how many Prague hotels mess that up. The beds are firm, the air conditioning works when you need it, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living in a closet.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location knowledge you pick up just from staying here. The front desk folks pointed me toward this little bakery two blocks down that locals hit up for morning coffee – way better than the tourist traps around the square. And you’re genuinely within walking distance of everything that matters: the Old Town is maybe fifteen minutes on foot, you can catch the metro at Karlovo náměstí without breaking a sweat, and there’s a decent grocery store right around the corner for those nights when you just want to grab some Czech beer and call it early. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see office workers grabbing lunch and students hanging out, not just tour groups with matching umbrellas. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or a rooftop bar, but for what you’re paying, it delivers exactly what you need – and sometimes that’s honestly better than places that promise the world and leave you disappointed.

  What could be improved: I didn't like the chaos at the reception. Long lines without rules: There were three receptionists at the time but it was totally unclear who' s next and where you should have been waiting.

  The location of hotel, breakfast was amazing! Everyday the had different food options and I even got a discount coupon from the restaurant next to the hotel.
  My bed was made everyday and towels were changed every 2 days.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing I noticed it was that the elevator walls were being renovated and it made me felt a bit uncomfortable about the security.
