Hotel Uno Prague Overview
You know what surprised me about Hotel Uno Prague? It’s actually tucked away on Stechovicka street in a quieter part of the city, which honestly turned out to be exactly what I needed after dealing with the tourist crowds around Old Town Square all day. I mean, Prague’s incredible, but sometimes you just want to come back to a place where you can actually think straight.
The hotel itself has this modern, understated vibe that feels refreshingly unpretentious for a 4-star place. When I walked into the lobby, there wasn’t any of that over-the-top marble and gold situation you see in some Prague hotels – just clean lines, comfortable seating, and staff who actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and the woman at the front desk gave me genuinely useful tips about which tram lines to take (not just the touristy stuff you read online). The rooms are well-designed without being flashy – good lighting for actually reading, proper blackout curtains that work, and a bathroom where you don’t have to perform gymnastics to take a shower. Little things, but they add up when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing after a night out.
What really sold me on this place was how it sits in the city. You’re not right in the historic center, which means you’ll need to hop on public transport or walk about 20 minutes to get to the main sights – but that’s actually perfect because you get to see how regular Prague works. There’s a decent coffee shop two blocks down where locals grab their morning fix, and I stumbled across this tiny restaurant nearby that served better goulash than the places charging tourist prices near the castle. The neighborhood gets genuinely quiet at night too, which is something you definitely can’t say about hotels near Wenceslas Square. Parking was surprisingly manageable if you’re driving, though honestly, once you figure out Prague’s tram system, you won’t want to deal with a car anyway. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that does everything well without trying to be something it’s not, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring a city like Prague.
Hotels in Prague offer guests the perfect blend of Gothic grandeur and modern comfort, with many featuring traditional Czech beer concierge services and medieval architecture to enhance the authentic Central European cultural experience.

What could be improved: everything was fineYaraslava from Czech Republic – 26 March 2025 (9/10)
Breakfast comes with a vast range of choices, which guarantees anyone can find something they like. Although the location is not in the centre of the old town, it has good access to both the central station and the old town. Staff working there are nice and are always eager to help, making sure the stay is as enjoyable as it can be.

Very good breakfast, was quite surprised with the quality and huge selection. Bed was quite comfortable and all the necessary amenities and accessories were present.
Staff was polite and helpful.
Overall a decent value for money.
What could be improved: Could use a more thorough/not just surface renovation. It is visibly an old hotel with a few visual touch ups to make it seem more modern.
For example, the door was quite worn down an did not close properly, there was technically no sound insulation from the corridor, even the light was shining through.Diana from Czech Republic – 23 March 2025 (9/10)
I am a local and booked the property for parents visiting. The stuff is friendly, location is good – close to the metro, good quiet neighbourhood. The breakfast is outstanding – definitely book with breakfast because you won’t find better alternatives for that price. The view is nice, the rooms are good and clean. Also the hotel has a shop that has nearly everything. Parents are experienced travellers and they were very happy with their stay.
What could be improved: Not a con, just better to know – if you would need parking you need to ask in advance because slots are limited.Said from Czech Republic – 22 March 2025 (9/10)
Everything was perfect thank you so much for the breakfast takeaway

We were there for two days, hotel is kinda nice ,also you have a discount cart for a lot of stuff around the city. Place quite close to center, but not loud . Also my advice is to book the room ONLY breakfast included, cause it's really worth it .
