Comfortable and convenient

A lovely hotel and great value for money, being west of the river, but with all the sights of the old town within easy walking distance, or a short ride from the tram stop right outside the front door. Despite being on a busy road, which had the advantage of a great choice of cafes and restaurants, our 2 room suite looked on to an inner courtyard, with no traffic noise. The rooms were comfortable, clean and air conditioned, with a free mini bar fridge (beer and water) and an en suite with a walk-in wet room shower. Breakfast, included in the price, offered a wide selection. The hotel staff were very accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage after check-out while we continued sightseeing.

What could be improved: Nothing. I loved this hotel.

Excellent value for money hotel on a great location close to city center with good public transport.

Breakfast was decent continental food but nothing extra. A little more variety would be nice from day to day.
There was a welcome drink in the fridge, and they served champagne on the day of our leaving which was a nice surprise.

What could be improved: With open windows the street traffic is quite noisy. (Tram in front of the Hotel, Guests in the restaurants in the ground floor), So we kept the windows mostly closed.
