Here’s the thing about the location that you won’t realize until you’re there: Žitná puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to the New Town sights, but you’re also close enough to hop over to the Old Town or Lesser Town without planning your whole day around transit. I spent way less time on trams than I expected, which honestly saved both money and time. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Prague, but it delivers on the stuff that actually matters when you’re exploring a city all day and just want a reliable home base.
