Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Hotel Imos in Prague, you get the sense this is a place that knows what it’s doing without making a big fuss about it. It’s tucked away on Za Tratí street, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time — but that’s actually part of its charm. This three-star property has that understated confidence you find in places where the staff has been perfecting their craft for years, and you can tell right away why so many guests keep coming back.

The Neighborhood Feel

The location really works if you’re looking for something more residential than touristy. You’re not right in the thick of Old Town chaos, but you’re not stranded either — I mean, this is Prague we’re talking about, so getting around is pretty straightforward. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially since couples seem to gravitate toward this place for romantic getaways. There’s something about the tree-lined street that just feels more intimate than your typical hotel strip, you know?

Your Room Experience

The rooms here are what I’d call thoughtfully simple — nothing flashy, but everything you actually need is there and works properly. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the room layouts make good use of the space without feeling cramped. What struck me was how well-maintained everything felt, from the bathroom fixtures to the windows that actually open properly. It’s clear they put money into the right places rather than just surface-level decorating.

Morning Routine

Breakfast here is one of those buffet setups that could easily go wrong, but they’ve got it figured out. The spread isn’t enormous, but what they do have is fresh and well-prepared — proper Czech pastries, decent coffee, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying a few days. I actually found myself looking forward to it each morning, which says something. The dining area gets good natural light too, so it’s a pleasant way to ease into your day before heading out to explore.

Why Guests Love It

Here’s the thing about Hotel Imos — it’s got that repeat customer thing down to a science, and after staying there, I totally get why. The private parking is genuinely useful if you’re driving (and not something you can take for granted in Prague), but more than that, it’s the consistency that keeps people coming back. The staff remembers faces, the quality stays steady, and there’s this comfortable reliability that makes it feel less like a hotel and more like a place you know. For couples especially, it strikes that sweet spot between privacy and accessibility that’s harder to find than you’d think.

Decent place, far from the city centre

I liked that my room had a small fridge. Unfortunately, there was no kettle, which is a pretty basic item in most hotel rooms.
Internet was rather spotty on the third floor, and there were very few power outlets. In the first room I got, there were none close to any of the beds, which was annoying.

Its good to stay there its cheap and good location.

Stuffs are good and they are available all the time.

What could be improved: No separate showers gel available there. TV not working. Wifi connection is poor.
