The windows opened onto the street below, and while Kozna isn’t the quietest street in the world, it’s not overly busy either. The bathroom was modern enough without feeling out of place in the historic setting.

What I really appreciated about staying here is how it puts you right in the thick of Prague’s daily rhythm. There’s a great little restaurant just around the corner that serves proper Czech food (not the tourist version), and you’ll find yourself walking past locals heading to work in the morning. The area has that perfect mix of historic charm and actual city life — you’re not stuck in some sanitized tourist bubble. Plus, if you need anything, there are shops and cafes within a block or two in every direction.
