Hotel CUBE Prague Overview
You know what struck me first about Hotel CUBE Prague? The building itself – it’s this beautifully restored piece on Křemencova Street that somehow manages to feel both historic and completely modern at the same time. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Vltava River, and honestly, the location is kind of perfect if you want to actually experience Prague like a person who lives there, not just tick off tourist boxes.
The thing about staying here is that you’re in Nové Město (New Town, though it’s from the 14th century – Prague’s funny like that), which puts you right in this sweet spot where you can walk to Wenceslas Square in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of Old Town Square at 8 AM when the tour groups descend. The staff actually seems to know Prague – like, really know it – and they’ll send you to places locals go, not just the obvious spots. I remember asking about where to grab coffee in the morning, and instead of pointing me toward some tourist trap, they directed me to this little place around the corner where I ended up sitting next to people reading Czech newspapers and arguing about football.
The rooms have this clean, minimalist thing going on that could feel sterile, but somehow doesn’t – maybe it’s the way the light comes in, or the fact that everything just works properly. The beds are actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which matters more than you think after walking around Prague’s cobblestones all day. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re in the city center. You get some street noise during the day, sure, but nothing that keeps you awake – and honestly, a little urban buzz just makes you feel more connected to the place.
Prague can get pretty overwhelming during peak season (basically April through October), but staying here gives you this sense of having a proper base camp. You can duck back easily when the crowds get too much, or when your feet start screaming from all those medieval streets. The neighborhood has some really solid restaurants too – not just tourist stuff, but places where you’ll hear more Czech than English, which is always a good sign. And if you’re the type who likes to explore beyond the castle and the bridge (which, don’t get me wrong, are worth seeing), you’re perfectly positioned to wander into areas like Vinohrady or even take the tram up to Karlín.
Look, Prague’s got plenty of hotels, and plenty of them are fine. But there’s something about this place that just feels right – maybe it’s that 9.6 rating, which honestly seems about accurate from what I experienced. It’s not trying too hard to impress you, but everything’s been thought through properly. You’ll spend your time exploring one of Europe’s most beautiful cities instead of dealing with hotel nonsense, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
The concierge service in Prague can arrange exclusive tours of Prague Castle, secure reservations at traditional beer halls, and organize personalized visits to Charles Bridge and the UNESCO World Heritage historic center.

Alan from Malaysia – 31 March 2025 (10/10)
Comfortable hotel close to metro, trams & river. Frank Kafta revolving head is 5 minutes walk away. Buffet Breakfast was amazing with great salads, sausages, juices, preseco & coffee machine.
What could be improved: Shower needs a door. But water pressure & heater was working well. It is not a negative point but you need to position yourself very close to shower or position your body to avoid wetting toilet floor.Stephan from Netherlands – 31 March 2025 (10/10)
Excellent Hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Hotel staff always very helpful and friendly.
What could be improved: Just a suggestion to improve. Consider getting a second toaster for breakfast area 🙂Holly from United Kingdom – 30 March 2025 (10/10)

The hotel was amazing, On the first entrance into the hotel, we were greeted with an amazing fresh smell that went throughout the hotel. Very safe hotel with key card entry at night time. Excellent location, Quite but also have a couple of nice places for a quiet drink across the road if you did not want to walk into the city square. Bed was comfy. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Bathroom facilities are spotless. If returning to Prague, I will be returning to this hotel.
What could be improved: Honestly, there is nothing not to like.Ido from Israel – 25 March 2025 (10/10)
