The location actually feels like a discovery – tucked away on Kurta Konráda street in Prague’s Vinohrady district, it’s far enough from the tourist madness of Old Town that you get to see how locals actually live, but close enough that you’re not stranded. What really sold me on this place, though, is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re on a quiet residential street where the biggest noise you’ll hear is maybe someone walking their dog or the tram rumbling by a few blocks away – but step out the front door and within ten minutes you can be at Vinohrady market picking up fruit, or grabbing coffee at one of those corner places where the barista actually remembers your order. The whole area has this lived-in elegance that feels authentically Prague, not like a movie set. Plus, getting into the city center is dead simple – hop on the metro at Náměstí Míru and you’re at Wenceslas Square in under ten minutes. The 8.6 rating makes total sense when you realize this isn’t trying to be the fanciest place in Prague, it’s just trying to be really, really good at what it does. And honestly?   Very kind and friendly staff. Jerusalem Restaurant has the most delicious and freshly made food. It's so convenient having the hotel and restaurant combined like this. Breakfast was very nice with a good range of choices. I loved it there.

  Except – if you would like to be in the hustle and bustle of the city center. But even from Hotel Carol it is easy, affordable and fast to get there by tram or Metro. So if you like the calm after a busy day in the center… It's even perfect!!!

  The room was very clean and ready for us. The hotel accommodated us when we wanted an early check in and got our room ready for us when we arrived. Karel was friendly and very helpful.

  Very clean and high-quality room and experience. The staff Josefina are kind and helpful for support and questions on transportation, recipe and related suggestions. The location is further from downtown, but plenty of trams that goes straight into the city.

  Extremely kind staff. We got a free upgrade at arrival. A treat was waiting for our dog in the room. The location is great, as the it is close to metro line B.

  I booked a room in this hotel to be close to the O2 Arena. 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the concert hall.
  The staff are very competent and attentive.
  The room was spacious and well appointed.
  The area where the hotel is located is quiet.
  Access to public transport is close to the hotel. You can reach the city centre and the castle without changing. I took advantage of this time on the tram to discover the city, sightseeing tour for 40 Czech crowns :-).
