You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Caesar Prague? It’s tucked away on Myslíkova street in a way that feels intentional – close enough to everything that matters but far enough from Wenceslas Square that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the National Theatre, and honestly, that location alone justifies staying here. The building itself has this understated elegance thing going on, none of that overdone Habsburg gold leaf you see everywhere else in the city.

The rooms actually feel like someone thought about how real people use hotel spaces. The beds are proper firm (Czech hotels sometimes go way too soft), and there’s enough desk space if you need to work – which I appreciated since the WiFi is surprisingly solid. What I really liked was the bathroom setup; they’ve got this rainfall shower that actually has decent water pressure, and the toiletries don’t smell like industrial disinfectant. The rooms facing the courtyard are quieter, though honestly, Myslíkova isn’t that busy anyway. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no upselling, no lengthy explanations of amenities I’ll never use.

Here’s the thing about this place that makes it work: it gets the balance right between being polished and not trying too hard. The staff genuinely knows Prague, not just the tourist version. When I asked about getting to Vinohrady for dinner, the desk guy didn’t just point to a map – he told me which tram stop to use and mentioned that the 22 runs more frequently than the 23 in the evenings. Little stuff like that matters when you’re actually staying somewhere for more than one night. The breakfast spread is solid Czech fare plus some international options, though honestly, you’re better off grabbing coffee at one of the cafés near Národní street anyway. Parking is available but it’s Prague, so expect to pay for it – though they do have a deal with a garage nearby that’s cheaper than street parking in the city center. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me; it’s the kind of place that does what it promises without any weird surprises, and in a city where tourism can make everything feel a bit performative, that’s actually pretty refreshing.

  I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Prague and was very pleased! The room was clean and comfortable, no strange smells, everything met my expectations. The location is just great – within walking distance from the center, just a 15- 20 minutes walk to Charles Bridge. There are also convenient transportation hubs nearby, making getting around the city very convenient. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to help and answer all questions. Overall, I was very pleased with my choice.

  The room was very clean and comfortable, and really big. I couldn’t get the tv working but I’m not very tech savvy so probably my fault! The reception staff and cleaners were very friendly

  What could be improved: Breakfast options could be one idea more, 4 days and 4 days same breakfast. Breakfast was good, but could be more salami cheese options, turkey, chicken, beef pork salam and sausages, jam ? Mozzarella, cheddar Edam Emmentaler? Even at Home I have 3-4 types of cheese and salam.
  Last but not least – the Walls needs some improvements – sound proof ! I could hear one guy snoring at night 😁

  It’s a city centre and all historical places are around. The hotel is nice clean and staff are very professional and kind. Totally satisfied with everything. Hopefully next time I’ll stay with Caesar again. Thank you for everything
