Hotel BELLA Overview
You know what? Hotel BELLA surprised me. I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Hloubětínská street, I wasn’t expecting much from this 3-star place tucked away in Prague’s Hloubětín district. But sometimes the best discoveries happen when you’re not looking for them.
The thing about this area is that it’s actually pretty smart if you know Prague at all. You’re not dealing with the tourist chaos of Old Town, but you’re not stranded either. There’s a tram stop basically around the corner that’ll get you to the city center in about 20 minutes, and honestly, after spending days walking on cobblestones, coming back to a quieter neighborhood feels like a relief. The staff at check-in seemed genuinely surprised when I mentioned I’d chosen the location on purpose – I think they’re used to guests treating it like a budget compromise rather than a strategic choice.
What I really appreciated was how the place felt lived-in rather than sterile. The lobby has this worn-in comfort that reminds you you’re staying somewhere with actual character, not some cookie-cutter chain. My room was clean (that’s always my first test), and while it won’t win any design awards, everything worked properly – which, let’s be real, matters more than fancy fixtures when you’re trying to shower before an early morning flight. The beds are actually comfortable too, which I mention because I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places where I’ve woken up feeling like I wrestled with the mattress all night. The 7.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow you away, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.
I mean, if you’re the type who needs to be stumbling distance from Wenceslas Square, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to experience Prague like someone who actually lives here – grabbing coffee at the local café down the street instead of paying tourist prices, taking the tram like a regular commuter, sleeping soundly without hearing drunk groups singing outside your window at 2 AM – then Hotel BELLA gets it right. Plus, there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to oversell itself. No grand promises about luxury amenities or world-class this-and-that. Just a solid, honest hotel run by people who seem to care about doing their job well.

It’s clean and that’s within minutes to public transportation.
What could be improved: It’s located by a busy road. With the bedroom windows opened for cool air at night it could be noisy from the cars driving by.Very good – Damla from Germany – 20 March 2025 (8/10)

The equipment and cleanliness of the room was completely adequate. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the hotel is in a very good location. The terrace is a special plus.
What could be improved: A refrigerator in the room would have been nice, and unfortunately there are no gluten-free baked goods at breakfast. But these are just little things. We had a lot of fun. We will definitely be back.pleasant stay in this hotel, will definitely come back when in PRG – Petra from United Arab Emirates – 22 August 2023 (7/10)
the hotel Bella has very convenient location, walking distance from tram as well as metro, therefore city center was easily accessible.
