Hotel Ariston Prague Overview
So here’s the thing about Hotel Ariston Prague – it sits on Seifertova, which honestly isn’t where most tourists end up, and that’s actually kind of perfect. You’re in Vinohrady, this leafy residential area that feels properly Prague without the constant hum of tour groups. I mean, you can still get to Old Town in about 15 minutes on the metro, but when you come back in the evening, you’re walking past locals walking their dogs and corner pubs where people actually live, not just Instagram spots.
The hotel itself has that solid four-star feel without trying too hard – you know what I mean? The lobby’s got these warm wood tones and doesn’t assault you with marble everywhere like some places do. Check-in was smooth when I was there, though I’d avoid arriving during the afternoon rush if you can help it. The rooms are what you’d expect for the price point, but here’s what I really appreciated: proper blackout curtains (crucial if you’re jet-lagged) and windows that actually open, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many hotels seal you in like a spaceship. The bathrooms are decently sized too – not massive, but you won’t be doing that awkward shower door dance.
What really works about this place is the neighborhood vibe. There’s this fantastic Vietnamese restaurant just down the street that locals queue up for – I stumbled across it by accident and ended up going back twice. The area around Náměstí Míru is maybe a ten-minute walk, and that’s where you’ll find proper grocery stores, cafes that aren’t tourist traps, and this gorgeous park that’s perfect for morning runs if that’s your thing. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle on the surrounding streets, but the hotel staff actually knows the area and can point you toward spots that won’t cost a fortune. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow you away, but everything works the way it should, the staff seems genuinely helpful rather than just polite, and you get that rare feeling of staying somewhere that Czechs might actually recommend to their visiting relatives. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the elevators are surprisingly quiet, which matters more than you think when you’re trying to sleep off a day of walking cobblestones and drinking excellent beer.
The concierge service in Prague can arrange exclusive tours of Prague Castle, secure reservations at traditional beer halls, and organize personalized visits to Charles Bridge and the UNESCO World Heritage historic center.

Everything was perfect, receptionist very nice and helpful, room was clean and had comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing and staff allowed to use it couple minutes earlier so I could be on time for my meeting. Amazing hotel, I'm already looking forward to coming here again.

The hotel was relatively close from central station and easy to access. Tram station is very close and we could access to the city center by tram.
What could be improved: We heard tram running sound from our room. Using ear plugs can be useful for good sleep.Manon from France – 17 March 2025 (8/10)
It’s very accessible to the center of Prague!
The room was clean and comfortable, the place is very nice and the breakfast was awesome
What could be improved: The shower had no pressure at all in our room, we had to use the faucet of the bathtub to wash instead of the shower head itself
The walls aren’t soundproof at all but the people were pretty respectful around usTalita from United Kingdom – 17 March 2025 (9/10)
The rooms are large and bed super comfortable, very clean and friendly staff.
What could be improved: The only thing they could improve is the check in, I arrived at 2pm and there’s a queue to check in and only 1 staff to assist everyone it took over 30 minutes waiting for check in.Rabindra from Nepal – 15 March 2025 (8/10)

Very clean and friendly service, good breakfasts and a large selection. And a large spacious bathroom. The ladies cleaning were there every day, the service at the highest level
What could be improved: No wardrobe for clothes and a small refrigerator filled with hotel food to buy, i.e. no space in it
