You know what struck me first about Hidden Art Boutique Residence? It’s actually hidden – I mean, you could walk right past this place on Lucemburská street and miss it entirely. Which is sort of perfect, honestly, because once you’re inside, it feels like you’ve discovered Prague’s best-kept secret. The whole building has this quiet, artistic vibe that’s completely different from the tourist chaos you’ll find closer to Old Town Square. I stayed here last spring and kept thinking how the name actually makes sense – there’s original artwork everywhere, but not in that trying-too-hard boutique hotel way. More like someone with really good taste just happened to curate their entire space.

The location is brilliant if you know Prague at all. Lucemburská puts you in Vinohrady, which locals will tell you is where they’d actually want to live (not where the tour groups go). You’re maybe fifteen minutes by tram to Wenceslas Square, but honestly, you might find yourself just wandering the neighborhood instead. There’s this fantastic little coffee place called Café Louvre just a short walk away – Einstein used to hang out there, which the staff will definitely tell you about. The street itself is pretty quiet, especially at night, though you’ll hear the morning trams if you’re a light sleeper. Parking was surprisingly manageable when I visited, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate.

What really sets this place apart is how it feels more like staying at a design-conscious friend’s apartment than a hotel. The rooms have these gorgeous high ceilings and original hardwood floors that creak just enough to remind you you’re in a historic building. Check-in was smooth – the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. I mean, they pointed me toward this tiny wine bar that doesn’t even have a proper sign, just locals nursing glasses of Moravian whites. The whole experience feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find, especially with Prague becoming so popular. Sure, it’s not the cheapest option in the city, but that 9.1 rating isn’t accidental – sometimes you really do get what you pay for. If you’re the type who’d rather discover a city through its actual neighborhoods instead of fighting crowds at every turn, this is exactly where you want to be.

Early hotels booking in Prague is essential during major events like the Prague Spring Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned classical music scene and Gothic architecture.

  Everything was wonderful to spend a few days in a beautiful city such as Prague, nothing bad to say about.
  
  What could be improved: I don’t know if I read bad, but I believe that I’ve reserve an PH with balcony terrace and I’ve gotten an attic apartment… Instead of that, very well everything!

  BIG apartment, super comfy bed, everything was clean. Kitchen and bathroom was excellent, fully equipped with everything. Using door code was easy, having contactless key even better. Good location, quiet.

  Well equipped with everything you need for a long stay. It was really clean. And you can ask for a cleaning every 5th day of your stay for free. Also, it was nice to have many consumable items including ground coffee.
  
  What could be improved: Be prepared to pay the city tax 2 euro/person/day which is not mentioned at the Booking price. It was quite an amount for our 17 nights stay. Also, mattresses were too soft for us and frying pan was quite inappropriate, no Teflon or likewise.
