Location

The hotel stands near the Vltava embankment between Charles Square and Vyšehrad. The Výtoň tram stop is about 3 minutes on foot, with Albertov and Botanická zahrada stops about 4–5 minutes away. Charles Square is about 7 minutes on foot and the Dancing House about 12 minutes. The Náplavka riverside promenade is a couple of minutes away. Wenceslas Square is about 1.4 km from the hotel, and Václav Havel Airport is roughly 40 minutes by car.

The property

The building dates from 1907 and has 210 air-conditioned rooms over five floors, served by lifts. Facilities include a restaurant (Restaurant TYPE) serving Czech and international dishes, a bar, a fitness room on the top floor, a rooftop terrace, a 24-hour front desk and seven meeting rooms. A buffet breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and until 11:00 at weekends for a surcharge of about CZK 450. Covered, secured on-site parking costs about CZK 650 per night and has an EV charging point.

Outstanding service from beginning to end. Was given a free upgrade to a balcony room which was most appreciated. The staff are friendly and very professional. Both breakfast & lunch were very high quality, varied and plentiful, and served in a comfortable, well designed restaurant.
I was in Prague to visit several areas & sites associated with WW2 and this hotel was perfectly located. Very easy to walk to city centre, tram or bus.
I will definitely return to this hotel on my next visit to this fabulous city.

The lobby was amazing and all the staffs were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who checked us in.
The location is convenient and the tram takes us everywhere. The room is large and clean.

What could be improved: The corridor looks like office buildings! But all good

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional too. Don’t wander around out or in town the breakfast here was great and reasonably priced.

What could be improved: Perhaps a little far from town but a nice walk by the river or trams very cheap and frequent just round the corner.
