Grand Hotel Prague Towers – Czech Leading Hotels Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Grand Hotel Prague Towers on Kongresová street – I mean, it’s in Prague 4, which isn’t exactly where most tourists end up. But you know what? That actually turned out to be one of its biggest advantages. You’re about fifteen minutes from the chaos of Old Town Square, but far enough away that you can actually get some sleep at night without drunk backpackers stumbling around outside your window.
The building itself is this impressive glass and steel tower that feels properly luxurious without being stuffy about it. What really got me was the lobby – there’s this subtle marble thing going on, and the lighting hits just right in the evenings. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which is refreshing in a five-star place. I had this one concierge who knew I was heading to Wenceslas Square and casually mentioned the best tram connection (it’s the 7 or 24 from nearby, by the way – way easier than the metro from here). The rooms are spacious in that Eastern European way where you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around. My room faced west, so sunset views were honestly spectacular, looking out over the Nusle Valley. The beds are firm but comfortable – I’m picky about this stuff – and the bathrooms have that rainfall shower situation that actually works properly, unlike half the places I’ve stayed.
Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re there: you’re practically next door to the Prague Congress Centre, which means if there’s some big conference happening, the hotel gets busy with business travelers. Not necessarily bad, just something to know. But it also means you’re close to Vyšehrad, which is this incredible historic fort area that most tourists completely miss. Seriously, it’s like a ten-minute walk and you get these amazing views of the Vltava River without fighting crowds. The hotel restaurant is solid – they do this Czech-international fusion thing that doesn’t feel forced, and their breakfast spread actually includes some local specialties alongside the usual continental stuff. Parking is handled well here too, which matters if you’re driving in Prague (though honestly, you probably shouldn’t be). The garage is secure and the valet guys know what they’re doing. With an 8.9 rating, you’re getting consistent quality without paying Old Town prices, and the metro connection at Vyšehrad gets you anywhere in the city center in about twenty minutes. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special, but you’re not constantly worried about every little expense adding up.

Reviews of Grand Hotel Prague Towers – Czech Leading Hotels
Gail from Israel – 26 November 2024 (9/10)
The room was clean and extremely comfortable, with a free option of going to the sauna and swimming pool (for Booking customers). The location turned out to be very convenient – right on top of a metro station. Breakfast is quite good. Very helpful staff!
What could be improved: Breakfast isn't included in the price – but it is a pretty big affair with many options available so it is recommended, especially on cold days before setting out to tour Prague! . Vegan options can be improved.Adamantia from Greece – 31 March 2025 (9/10)
Beautiful hotel, in a great location. Just 2 min away from the metro, very convenient. The room was nice, clean and we had a very nice view to the city. The breakfast was superb!
What could be improved: The pool is at the top floor, nice view, but a bit small in a small area with not a lot of chairs, and unfortunately when we were there, was very very busy, so there was not an available chair! We left very fast.Eva from Slovakia – 31 March 2025 (9/10)
This hotel was the best decision for our stay with a baby in Prague. The staff was super nice and helpfull. Service was exceptional, there was no problem with our requirements. Breakfast was amazing. The metro station is just few steps away and it will connect you to all places you want to go. Also not that far by foot, if you like walks. We really enjoyed it here. We will return for sure.

It was a very nice and clean hotel. Great location right next to the metro, which is all you need for prague. The pool was excellent with an amazing view, the room was very clean and a nice place to come back too after a long day exploring. Breakfast was tasty with a wide range of variety. Staff were very polite and helped us out when we needed it. All in all, a great stay would definitely come back.

Ncstxc from Portugal – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
The staff was phenomenal. Very helpful and friendly. Fantastic breakfast. We were lucky to be on a high floor, and had a fantastic view of the city.
The location is fantastic, less then 1 minute walk from the metro station. I recommend only using public transport.
The only thing we didn't like was the temperature of the room, too hot, the A/C didn’t work for cold, and even after 4 days with the A/C off and the window open, with 10 degrees outside, the room was too hot for us.
We also didn't enjoy the pool temperature, was too cold.Alexandru from Romania – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
Very good value for money! Good position, free parking, good food, nice view!
James from United Kingdom – 28 March 2025 (9/10)
Possibly more guidance regarding suitability of drinking water from taps, otherwise fantastic
