The rooms are spacious in that Eastern European way where you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around. My room faced west, so sunset views were honestly spectacular, looking out over the Nusle Valley. The beds are firm but comfortable – I’m picky about this stuff – and the bathrooms have that rainfall shower situation that actually works properly, unlike half the places I’ve stayed.

Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re there: you’re practically next door to the Prague Congress Centre, which means if there’s some big conference happening, the hotel gets busy with business travelers. Not necessarily bad, just something to know. But it also means you’re close to Vyšehrad, which is this incredible historic fort area that most tourists completely miss. Seriously, it’s like a ten-minute walk and you get these amazing views of the Vltava River without fighting crowds. The hotel restaurant is solid – they do this Czech-international fusion thing that doesn’t feel forced, and their breakfast spread actually includes some local specialties alongside the usual continental stuff. Parking is handled well here too, which matters if you’re driving in Prague (though honestly, you probably shouldn’t be). The garage is secure and the valet guys know what they’re doing. With an 8.9 rating, you’re getting consistent quality without paying Old Town prices, and the metro connection at Vyšehrad gets you anywhere in the city center in about twenty minutes. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special, but you’re not constantly worried about every little expense adding up.
