Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Florenc Apartments? The location is honestly a bit of a hidden gem – you’re on Sokolovská street in what locals call the real Prague, not the tourist bubble around Old Town Square. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the center (maybe 15-20 minutes if you don’t mind the stroll), but you get to experience how actual Praguers live. The trams run right nearby, which is perfect because Prague’s public transport is ridiculously efficient once you figure it out.
Michal and his team – they really do know what they’re doing here. The apartments themselves feel like someone actually lives in them, not those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (I’m talking real knives that cut things, decent-sized fridges), which is clutch if you hit up the Náměstí Míru farmers market on Saturdays. The beds are comfortable – honestly better than some five-star places I’ve stayed – and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the whole space. What I appreciated most was the little touches: proper blackout curtains (essential if you’re dealing with jet lag), and they stock the place with basics so you’re not scrambling to find dish soap your first night. The check-in process is smooth too; they send you all the codes and instructions ahead of time, so no awkward waiting around in lobbies.
The neighborhood itself grows on you quickly. There’s this excellent Vietnamese place called Sapa just down the street – Prague has an amazing Vietnamese food scene that most tourists completely miss. You’re also walking distance to Wenceslas Square, but more importantly, you’re near some of the city’s best beer halls that haven’t been completely overrun yet. The Florenc metro station is about a seven-minute walk, which connects you to both airport lines, so getting in and out is actually easier than staying in the tourist center where you’d have to transfer twice. Fair warning though – Sokolovská can get a bit busy during rush hour since it’s a main thoroughfare, but the apartments are set back enough that noise isn’t really an issue. I stayed here during a conference week in October, and honestly, after three nights I felt like I had my own little Prague routine going. That 8.9 rating makes complete sense – it’s the kind of place that just works without any drama or surprises.

Very spacious flat, location excellent. Plenty of beds to choose from. TV with Netflix, good kitchen facilities. Big dining table.
What could be improved: No sofa, no locks on bathroom doors.Gunter from Namibia – 21 December 2024 (9/10)
We loved everything about this wonderful apartment. Communication with the hosts was great, the apartment was beautiful and spacious. Dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent were unexpected bonuses, thank you. A dishwasher and washing machine made life so much easier. The location was excellent and it was within walking distance to many attractions. Florenc station across the road was very convenient to travel on public transport. We can highly recommend this apartment.

The place was indeed exceptional. Close to the metro station, accessbible.
What could be improved: Gaining entrance to the venue could be sent earlier via email rather than asking people to watch the video on youtube. People might not have access to internet at that time so it might be difficult to gain entrance.Qosten from Latvia – 19 October 2024 (9/10)
Cozy apartment, everything which needed is there. Perfect location. Rented for friends, they really enjoyed it. Host provided with all necessary information.
What could be improved: You can hear everything happening on the staircase, but this is speciality of the most old Czech buildings.Sarah from United Kingdom – 23 September 2024 (9/10)

Derek from Germany – 3 April 2024 (9/10)
Everything was perfect for my family, just steps from supermarkets. Very convenient. The communication with the host was a 10/10. Would come back!
What could be improved: The only thing I would change was the locks for the bathroom and shower.Angela from United Kingdom – 13 February 2024 (9/10)
The apartment was immaculate and so well equipped. It had everything you could need incl a thoughtful touch in the bathroom with accessories and hairdryer. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook/prepare what we wanted with ease.
What could be improved: Nothing. It was perfect.
