The building itself is typical Prague – that slightly weathered charm that somehow manages to feel both historic and lived-in. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, actually – none of that awkward key-exchange dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

What really got me about this place was how quiet it stays at night, despite being in what’s technically a pretty bustling district. Prokopova’s residential enough that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds stumbling around at 2 AM, but busy enough that there’s always something happening if you want it. The TV Tower’s literally right there (you can’t miss it – that communist-era rocket ship thing), and honestly, the view of it growing on you is part of the Zizkov experience. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not a sanitized rental unit – I’m talking real furniture that’s comfortable, a kitchen you’d actually want to cook in, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes. The rating of 8.5 makes total sense because it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just really good at being what it is.

Here’s the thing about staying in Zizkov that most people don’t realize until they’re there – it’s got this incredible pub culture that’s completely different from the tourist traps in Malá Strana. And when you want to head into the center for all the must-see stuff, you’re never more than a quick tram ride away – but you actually have somewhere authentic to come back to at the end of the day. It’s the kind of setup where you end up staying an extra night because you’ve accidentally started feeling like a temporary local instead of just another tourist checking boxes.

  Gospodarz życzliwy, gotowy pomagać w razie potrzeby. (Bardzo nam pomógł kiedy potrzebowaliśmy przechować bagaże przez parę godzin przed zameldowaniem i po wymeldowaniu). Komfortowa kuchnia, ze stołem. Łatwe wejście do budynku i apartamentu przez wpisywanie kodu. Stosunek jakości do ceny moim zdaniem bardzo korzystny. Cena przyzwoita a otrzymujemy zaskakująco ładne pokoje, w każdym szafa, stolik i dwa krzesła. toaleta i łazienka są oddzielnie. lokalizacja wygodna – 3 przystanki od dworca i rynku nowego miasta.
