Flamingo Apartments Overview
You know what? Flamingo Apartments totally caught me off guard in the best way possible. I’ll be honest, when I first saw the address on Nad Klikovkou, I had to look it up – it’s not exactly the Prague street everyone talks about. But that’s actually part of its charm. You’re tucked away in Smíchov, which locals will tell you is where the real Prague happens, away from the tourist circus around Old Town Square.
The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense Czech apartment block vibe – think clean lines and practical design rather than Instagram-worthy baroque facades. But here’s the thing that really matters: the apartments are genuinely comfortable, and I mean actually livable, not just somewhere to crash between sightseeing. The kitchenettes are small but functional (I managed to make decent coffee every morning, which is crucial for me), and the beds are surprisingly good quality. The whole place feels like someone’s well-maintained second home rather than a sterile hotel room. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle – it’s Prague, so that’s just reality – but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient.
What I really appreciated was how connected you feel to actual Prague life from here. There’s a great little hospoda about five minutes’ walk where the servers definitely don’t speak English but somehow you end up having the best conversations anyway. The tram connections are honestly better than most central hotels – you can get to Wenceslas Square in maybe fifteen minutes, but you’re also close enough to walk along the river when the weather’s decent. I spent way more time than planned just wandering the neighborhood, discovering these tiny bakeries and watching locals go about their day. The 7.6 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and genuine, which honestly beats those overpriced boutique places that look amazing in photos but have paper-thin walls and terrible water pressure. If you want to feel like you’re actually staying in Prague rather than just visiting it, this place gets it right.
Apartments in Prague provide travelers with an authentic local experience, allowing them to shop at traditional markets and cook with fresh ingredients from the renowned Czech culinary traditions.

Reviews of Flamingo Apartments
We were happy people ☺️☺️☺️ – Jasper from Netherlands – 28 February 2024 (9/10)
Nice property, good to go to with bus and trams (little walk but that’s fine!) make sure to have ticket for buses or 1000kč fine 😊
We had a good stay and it was very good value for money! It was decent clean and had own kitchen and stuff big enough!
Own washer, etc.
What could be improved: Floor bit cracking sounds
Woof woof from dogs outside gardens sometimes, we laughed a lot about that but a bit annoying maybe to others 😃great price – Sviatoslav from Ukraine – 13 December 2022 (8/10)
overall it's great money for quality ratio, maybe the best in this part of the city. It is very clean and neat. definitely e a good stay
What could be improved: the external bathroom was quite cold, despite the batteries working at a high level. also, I think it would be nice to add a pair of disposable slippers to the rooms with the detached toiletPerfect stay – Latja22 from Serbia – 22 November 2022 (9/10)
Quiet neighborhood, free parking nearby, comfy, cleab warm had all utilities. Has a nice garden to chill, not too far from city center. I really loved it.
What could be improved: Bathroom is in a shared hall, but not too much of an issue.Superb – Thomas from Germany – 28 September 2022 (9/10)
We had great days in Prag and in Flamingo apartment. Nice house with the nice garden. Absolut silent
We feel very well at this place and we found the silence after visiting the lovely town during the day.Good – Mindaugas from Lithuania – 4 July 2025 (7/10)
Apartments are not new, missing some locks in wc, no AC, but you can use pool outside
What could be improved: Ants in shower no locks in wcNice place for a good price – Kezra23 from Italy – 11 May 2025 (8/10)
Room was big,
A lot of Outside space,
Well positioned.
What could be improved: Bathroom outside the room,
Other guest's Kitchen in between our bedroom and our bathroom.
No privacy from window on the garden side.Very good – Chris from Czech Republic – 4 August 2024 (8/10)
Pool and outdoor area was great. Location and proximity to bus routes was better than expected. Good area for children to plan inside.
What could be improved: Cleanliness wasnt perfect. Hairs in the shower and also in the beds on arrival. Sheets were clean though. Also a lack of towel for floor in shower or for drying hands, no cloths or items to clean during the stay and also no spare rubbish bags.Enjoyable and did the job nicely – Tom from United Kingdom – 22 April 2024 (9/10)
Spacious, nice garden area
What could be improved: A bit out of the way of the citySuperb – Mina from Switzerland – 2 April 2024 (9/10)
Great area for playing for children.
4 single beds and one sofa bed as indicated.
Great garden and barbecue place.
Quiet neighborhood.
Free parking on the same street right next to the entry.
Good internet connection.
What could be improved: Make sure you bring our own shampoo as there was none.
The bedrooms were not separated by a hallway so our apartment was good only for parents-children (whoever sleeps in the second bedroom must pass through the first one in order to get to the toilet).Nice appartment for a family stay. No high expectations. – Vladislav0405 from Ukraine – 27 February 2024 (7/10)
Very clean appartments. Easy check-in and check out. Normal price. Overall, the stay was okay.
What could be improved: There was only one small wardrobe in one room out of three, which is not enough for a big family, literally nowhere to hang your jacket. Also, no locker at the toilet. A kitchen is at little far away.
Awful jacuzzi! Cold room in the basement and the water didn't warm up.
