Figaro Suites Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Figaro Suites on Mozartova, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. It’s this sort of understated building that blends right into the Prague streetscape, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re staying in a real neighborhood here, not some touristy bubble, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Once you step inside though, it’s a completely different story. The suites are genuinely spacious – and I don’t mean hotel-brochure spacious, I mean you can actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which honestly saved me a fortune since Prague’s restaurant prices have gotten pretty steep in recent years. There’s this nice attention to detail throughout, like decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how many Prague hotels mess this up) and blackout curtains that actually work. The décor strikes this balance between modern and classic that feels authentically Prague without being kitschy – no overwhelming baroque gold everywhere, thank god.
What really sold me on this place is the location, and here’s why: you’re close enough to walk to the castle district without dealing with the crowds that swarm around hotels right in Malá Strana. Mozartova puts you in this sweet spot where you can grab morning coffee at local cafés where they actually know how to make it, not the tourist traps serving overpriced mediocrity. The tram connections are solid – the 22 line gets you pretty much anywhere you need to go, and there’s usually parking available on the street if you’re brave enough to drive in Prague (though honestly, don’t).
The staff actually seems to give a damn, which is refreshing. Check-in was smooth, they knew the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations, and when my room’s Wi-Fi was acting up, they fixed it without the usual runaround. It’s not a huge place, so you’re not just another booking number to them. The building stays pretty quiet too – I was worried about street noise, but the windows do their job well. You might hear some tram rumble in the early morning, but it’s more ambient than disruptive.
The 8.7 rating makes sense to me. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in Prague, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing after long sightseeing days. The value proposition is solid, especially considering you’re getting apartment-style space in a city where hotel rooms are typically shoebox-sized. If you’re the type who wants to experience Prague like you’re living there for a week rather than just passing through, Figaro Suites gets it right.
The concierge service in Prague can arrange exclusive tours of Prague Castle, secure reservations at traditional beer halls, and organize personalized visits to Charles Bridge and the UNESCO World Heritage historic center.

Reviews of Figaro Suites
Elisabeta from Romania – 8 January 2025 (9/10)
Close to the shopping mall and underground station. The room was spacious and the kitchen was useful for us, having a child with us.

Good value for money, nearly new building, easy check-in/contactless access via the JustIn app, good staff communication.
What could be improved: The pillows are too big, and are not too comfortable to sleep on.Simona from Romania – 24 March 2025 (9/10)

I really enjoyed the room. I had a quiet room on the 6th floor with beautiful skylight windows. There was an elevator. It was close to a lot of public transportation options. Loved the kitchenette.
What could be improved: They don’t offer a shuttle service (unlike the description) but the bus to the airport is a few blocks away. It takes 45 min- an hour.Kateryna from Ukraine – 10 March 2025 (9/10)
This apartment is located near a shopping center and the metro, as well as the old town. Although the area is not large, it was comfortable for my husband and me. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for cooking. It was also very nice that the administration congratulated my husband on his birthday. It was unexpected, but nice 🙂
Matei from Romania – 9 March 2025 (9/10)
The fact that it was close to public transport, inside it was cleaned and looked new. Also we were given the things we needed.
What could be improved: A window in the bathroom would have been appreciated. Also, a smaller light in the room is needed, like a lamp.Elise from United Kingdom – 6 March 2025 (9/10)
So cozy and so close the city , just a tram ride away! The staff were lovely and no issues with us leaving luggage after we checked out so we could still explore the city. And questions i had were answered right away via the app.
What could be improved: Nothing wrong with the property just would be an added bonus if there was a full length mirror but was perfect other than that.
