Erbenova Apartments Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Erbenova Apartments for the first time, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street. This three-star property sits quietly on a residential street in Prague, and that’s actually part of its charm. The building has that classic Central European feel, nothing flashy, but you can tell it’s been thoughtfully maintained. What struck me right away was how peaceful the area felt, especially considering you’re still well within reach of Prague’s main attractions.

Location That Actually Works

Here’s the thing about staying in this part of Prague — you get to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. The apartment building sits in a neighborhood where locals actually go about their daily lives, which I found refreshing after staying in some of the more touristy areas. You’re close enough to walk to the major sights (though honestly, you’ll probably want to use public transport for some of them), but far enough away that you won’t hear groups of tourists wandering around at midnight. The couples who stay here seem to particularly appreciate this balance — there’s something romantic about having your own quiet corner of Prague.

The Space Itself

The apartments here are what I’d call “no-nonsense comfortable.” My room was clean, well-organized, and had everything I actually needed without a bunch of unnecessary extras. The kitchen setup was particularly useful — not huge, but functional enough that I could make coffee in the morning and even prepare simple meals. You know what I appreciated most? The fact that everything worked properly. The Wi-Fi was reliable, the heating did its job, and the shower had decent water pressure. Sometimes that’s all you really want.

Practical Considerations

Getting around from here is pretty straightforward once you figure out the public transport connections. I mean, Prague’s tram and metro system takes a day or two to get used to, but the location gives you good access to multiple lines. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving — this is Prague, after all — but the staff was helpful in pointing out the best options nearby. The building itself is quiet, which I really valued after long days of sightseeing. You can actually get a good night’s sleep here.

Why Guests Love It

What keeps people coming back to Erbenova Apartments isn’t any single standout feature — it’s the combination of things that just work well together. You get a genuine Prague neighborhood experience without sacrificing comfort or accessibility. The value is solid for what you’re paying, especially if you’re the type of traveler who wants a reliable base rather than a flashy hotel experience. Plus, there’s something satisfying about having your own space with a proper kitchen when you want to take a break from restaurant meals. It’s the kind of place that grows on you, and honestly, that’s exactly what I want when I’m staying somewhere for more than just a night or two.

Reviews of Erbenova Apartments

  • Good – Veronika from Slovakia – 5 April 2025 (7/10)

The apartment was spacious and comfy, ok for weekend stay for a bigger group. The door were opened via application shared before the arrival.

What could be improved: The apartment's floor was not clean as well as the stairway in the building (might be due to the construction in the building?). The shower was not leveled, so the water was not draining properly.

  • Good – Konstantin from Switzerland – 2 January 2025 (7/10)

An easy-to-access apartment near a tram stop. Good for family travel.

What could be improved: – the kitchen was poorly equipped: no forks, spoons, or knives, and only two plates.
    – the elevator stops between the floors, so one must take the stairs section to get on the elevator and another after getting off the elevator.

  • Would recommend, great price, great location – Dávid from Slovakia – 13 April 2024 (8/10)

Great location for a great price. Door opens with your mobile instead of a key, this was very useful with a group of friends. Clean and comfortable.

What could be improved: The shower and the toilet were not in a 100% shape, it was still usable, but broken. The floor felt weird at places. All of the noise coming from the corridor can be heard rather loudly.

  • Great location, apartment size and look, with some small issues (without them it would be 10/10) – Róbert from Czech Republic – 6 March 2024 (8/10)

Location is great, you don't even need to use public transportation to get to the city center. Thanks to cemetery right over the street (which some might love, some might not) it's really quiet. Apartment is large, it can accommodate 9 people without problems. Looks nice and it's OK in general.

What could be improved: Neighbors were noticeable, not sure if there is another apartment, but we heard music and talking pretty much all the time, with people going in and out even during the night, for lighter sleeper it might be a problem. There were also several small issues that were annoying (clogged shower drain, broken shower head, hole under the vinyl floor in the kitchen, falling toilet door handle, loose toiled seat). When removed (might be already fixed), it can be easily 10/10 accommodation.

  • Great! – Jessica from United States – 17 October 2023 (8/10)

Great location with easy access to the old town either walking (+/- 40 mins) or the tram stop is near the apartment. The apartment was spacious and had plenty of comfortable beds for a family of five or a small group. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes we would have needed to cook during our stay.

What could be improved: There weren’t any garbage bags or places to put things in the bathroom area, but besides that, would definitely recommend!

  • Very good – Justyna from Canada – 5 September 2023 (8/10)

Close to the store. Walking distance to downtown.

What could be improved: 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 people for 2 days. The floor was not clean.

  • Good – Valērija from Latvia – 17 July 2023 (8/10)

Clean, great location, parking nearby (have to reserve in advance)

What could be improved: Some kind of deposit money which was not mentioned in a description. When paying the deposit it was mentioned that I will get my money back in the night, but when I wrote to property they said that they will return money in a week? So feels kinda like a scam to me, but oh well

  • Pleasant – Swapnil from Germany – 4 July 2023 (6/10)

    Location

  • Very good – Efe from Turkey – 5 June 2023 (8/10)

the location of the house, the abundance of furniture and the spaciousness of the house

What could be improved: there were no slippers in the house, the floor was dusty and the bathroom was leaking

  • Very good – Fatima from Italy – 14 April 2023 (8/10)

    The apartment was big, clean

What could be improved: the location is near cemetery a bit scary for me
