Epstein Apartments Overview
You know what struck me first about Epstein Apartments? It’s tucked away on Benediktska street in a way that feels almost secretive – like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t found yet. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from Old Town Square, but the street itself has this quiet, residential vibe that’s honestly pretty rare in central Prague these days.
The building has that classic Prague character – you know, the kind with thick walls that actually keep the noise out (something I definitely appreciated after staying in those paper-thin modern places near Wenceslas Square). The apartments themselves are what I’d call unpretentious but solid. Nothing fancy, but everything works, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for a week. The kitchenettes are surprisingly functional too – I actually cooked a few meals using ingredients from the little grocery shop around the corner on Parizska. Speaking of which, you’re close enough to that whole luxury shopping area that you can window shop at Hermès, then duck back to your reasonably-priced apartment for a coffee break.
What really sold me on the location was stumbling onto Letna Park one morning. It’s maybe a fifteen-minute walk north, and honestly, watching the sunrise over the city from up there beats any expensive rooftop bar. The walk back takes you through some neighborhoods where actual Praguers live and work, which felt more authentic than bouncing between tourist sites all day. Parking can be a bit tricky – there’s street parking but it fills up fast, especially during summer. I’d recommend the garage on Revolucni if you’re driving, though walking or using the trams is probably your best bet anyway. The 17 tram literally stops at the end of the street and takes you pretty much anywhere you need to go. Check-in was straightforward enough, though the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7, so definitely coordinate your arrival time ahead of time. Overall, it’s the kind of place that gets the job done without any drama – clean, quiet, and positioned perfectly for actually exploring Prague like someone who lives there, not just someone passing through with a guidebook.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Prague through local agencies that offer personalized recommendations and insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for exploring the city’s rich medieval heritage.

Reviews of Epstein Apartments
This studio is a great value for the money when you factor in location, temperature comfort, and amenities (fridge, cook – Thomas from United States – 25 February 2024 (8/10)
1) It is walking distance from the Praha hl.n train station, as well as many attractions and tour guide meeting points, as well as restaurants/bars.
2) The studio/unit is at the back of the building, away from most of the street noise and the noise of people coming in/out of the building.
3) It was overall clean.
4) Signage inside was helpful (e.g. the hot water tank limit).
5) Fridge size was bigger than expected.
6) Temperature (winter, 8•c): the studio stayed during the day without the radiator on, and I only had turn it on very low at night.
What could be improved: 1) It had an “old” stale smell that was persistent enough to trigger a headache.
2) Also, sometimes there was a smell of cigarette smoke, but I couldn’t figure out why.
3) The property location instructions could be better detailed. It was difficult to determine the correct unit once inside because the flat doors have 2 numbers on them, and the studio name isn’t on the door.
4) The bed pillows are very old and yellowed, and misshapen, which caused a lot of neck pain. Also, it was very off-putting to think about how many people’s drool had stained them, and the last time they were changed.
5) The bed/mattress is uncomfortable. You can feel the springs/frame when you lay down.Good – Ondrej from Slovakia – 5 November 2023 (7/10)

Great localization, generally the apartment was ok.
What could be improved: The carpet was a little bit dirty, shower and windows were damaged. It needs some repairs.Good – Antonio from Portugal – 7 July 2025 (8/10)
The location was perfect! We had a slight problem with the hot water in the shower but they resolved it quickly.
What could be improved: The kitchen utensils could be better and cleaner but did their purpose.Lovely friendly helpful people, location central to everything – Jodie from Ireland – 4 May 2024 (10/10)
We arrived and found it hard using Google maps to find location ,but we were met with the keys and a very friendly landlord, we asked could we leave our luggage there on departure day until it was time to go to airport, we were extremely happy to stay there and would recommend it to friends and relatives
What could be improved: Nothing everything was amazingVery honest, amazing owner. I left a tablet in the apartment and he sent it at his cost back to me. – Katarzyna from Poland – 27 October 2023 (10/10)

Epstein apartment Prague – Monika from Ireland – 21 July 2023 (10/10)
I really like the location of the apartment, right in the heart of the city centre. The apartment was very clean with everything that you could expect for staying for 2 nights.
Great location to visit beautiful prague – Matthew from United Kingdom – 21 February 2025 (6/10)
The location
What could be improved: No hot water on the first day. The bed was uncomfortableWorth chosing to stay in this apartment – Radoslav from Germany – 24 April 2025 (5/10)
Apartment was nice, clean yeah, and it was nearby the city center.
What could be improved: picking up keys at some shop nearby was a task for itself, for someone who is with bags and first time in the city. Shower had issues with water drainage and it has to be quick shower otherwise you are standing in water. Pillows were there but so thin that you had to put towels or clothes underneath in order to be able to sleep so it was not that pleasant and comfortable.Poor – Rastislav from Slovakia – 5 July 2023 (3/10)
City centre location – perfect. 👍
Apartment clean 🙂
What could be improved: TV signal – very bad. 👎
TV Remote control not working – need to change.👎
Bed for two 140cm wery small, mattress – bad condition- urgent need to change – whole bed totally uncomfortable 👎
Sofa for sleep – only in urgent cases. – may be just for one night…👎
I do not recomend this apartment- there are apartmetns in much better condition for the same price. 👎
