EA Hotel Victoria Overview
You know what struck me first about the EA Hotel Victoria? It’s actually in a spot that most tourists completely miss – tucked on Seifertova street in Vinohrady, which honestly is exactly where you want to be if you’re tired of fighting crowds around Old Town Square. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to Wenceslas Square in about fifteen minutes, but you get to stay in this lovely residential area where actual Praguers live and work.
The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense feel that screams “this place has been here forever and knows what it’s doing.” Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly choreographed hospitality theater you get at some places. The lobby’s got this understated elegance thing going on, sort of like a well-dressed local who doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Seifertova isn’t a main thoroughfare, so you’re not dealing with trams clattering by at 2 AM (trust me, that matters more than you think when you’re jet-lagged). The rooms are properly sized – not those cramped European boxes that barely fit your suitcase, but actual spaces where you can spread out a bit. The beds are legitimately comfortable, which… look, I’ve stayed in enough places where “comfortable bed” apparently means “mattress-shaped object,” so this stood out.
Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place: it sits right at the edge of where tourists usually venture, which means you get the best of both worlds. Walk five minutes toward the city center and you’re back in full Prague mode with all the castle views and beer halls. But walk five minutes the other way and you’re discovering little neighborhood pubs where the bartender might actually remember your order, or stumbling across Riegrovy sady – this gorgeous park that most visitors never find. The hotel staff seemed to actually get this balance too; they’re helpful with directions and recommendations, but they’re not pushing the same tired tourist trap suggestions everyone else does. I asked about good coffee nearby and got pointed to this tiny local spot instead of the obvious Starbucks. That 8.5 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Prague, but it delivers on everything that actually matters when you’re exploring a city. Four stars that feel earned rather than inflated.

Danut from Romania – 10 January 2025 (8/10)
The room was very nice, clean. The receptionist was very kind and helpfull.
What could be improved: There was a little noise from the trams that were passing by.
In the bathroom the shower step was panited and didn t look so good comparing to the rest of the bathroom.Vivien from Spain – 17 December 2024 (8/10)
Friendly personnel, great location and the breakfast was really nice!
What could be improved: The code to enter the very outside door was hard to put in, as you had to press the middle for a second before putting the code in. However, as we did that, it already selected a number which was not the right one of our code. It worked fine with the other two doorsTamara from Ukraine – 19 November 2024 (9/10)

A minimalistic, cosy and sparkling clean room. The hotel is 10 minutes away by tram / 30 min away by foot from the central main square along a broad road and also near a great gig spot, Palac Akropolis. I enjoyed my stay to the very fullest, and I consider the booking fees to be excellent and rather cheap for all facilities and the hotel's central position. Nice staff, too!
Jeff from United States – 2 November 2024 (9/10)
Great breakfast, nice room
Cigabriele from Italy – 31 October 2024 (9/10)
The room was very clean and quiet, the bed very comfortable. Very easy keyless opening for both hotel and room door.
What could be improved: Toilet a little bit old. Breakfast could be better, but not bad. No big logo outside the hotel. The location is not that central.Camila from Italy – 28 October 2024 (9/10)
Great staff, very good breakfast, comfortable bed and close to the tram. I do recommend the hotel.
